Confortable. You must put it with a wall behind it, otherwise the back will sink backward. Another thing to improve in the desing is that the seat big cushion slips to the front frequently so you need to adjust it from time to time. Strong chemical odor for the first few days—wait to open the package until you can leave windows open for 24–72 hours, depending on your sensitivity. The ottoman is unstable as a seat; use caution when sitting or shifting your weight. The chair seat slopes slightly forward, so you may slide forward if you’re not careful. Cushioning is firm, not soft—I weigh 200 lbs with natural padding, yet after four hours of binge-reading my rear was sore.Back support only reaches mid-back, so it’s not suitable for upright lounging—best for reclining or supine lounging. Assembly is very easy to do solo if you’re a strong woman or average man. It opened easy enough. Expanded fully and looks right. Nothing to put together besides putting cushions and pillows in place. Fabric seems like a decent quality but maybe not for pets that scratch or lots of rough housing, stitches seem a little weak. Not as heavy as a regular couch this size. Sits comfortably, but you gotta move around, if you sit in the same place for more than a day or two it'll stay that way for awhile. I've had to flip the cushion a few times.
