Love this chair for the price! Assembly is very straightforward- put it together while half watching TV in a half hour. If you’ve ever built IKEA furniture and can follow pictures, you can build this no problem- it’s a pretty basic design. Not sure why so many negative comments around that. Love the material and color, it’s quite cozy and warm, although it does get a bit uncomfortable after a long period of time and could use some extra cushion, which I’ll be adding. For the cost, that’s a simple fix and I have no complaints or regrets. The wood has a nice finish to it and looks more expensive than it is. It’s very sturdy initially, time will tell how it holds up long term (I don’t have super high expectations but if I get a year out of it I’ll be happy). I’ll be buying another. ... show more

Such a cute little chair! Love the color, and it’s perfect for a smaller room. It is pretty comfortable, but if you’re sitting with your butt up closer to the back you can feel the bar running through the seat. Scoot down a little and you can’t tell. If it wasn’t for the bar, would’ve been 5 stars! All in all it’s perfect for what I needed. Would recommend :) ... show more

It’s a fairly comfortable chair to sit in. And it’s an excellent napper. But it loses big points for being quite difficult to put together. There are several different screws, but none of them are labeled. So it is unclear which screw you need when putting the chair together. The second point it loses on is that it sits very close to the ground and can be difficult to get up from. I imagine elderly folks and the disabled should not sit in this chair. edit: However. I have had this chair for 16 days at the time of this revision. It's a pile of junk. The reclining mechanism is already broken. The right side doesn't lock any longer so the back doesn't offer any support. The piece where you put the seat cushion on is a length of fabric hung between two flimsy metal rods, which have bent somewhat severely. This is a low quality piece and will be trash soon. ... show more

The chair is comfortable. The fabric is soft and cushions thick. I will be buying a lumbar pillow though as there is no lower back support. The foot stool is lower than the chair and I feel it would be better if the stool were taller. Now, the frustrating assembly. The first metal bar I had to use the provided screws on was not drilled out properly and slightly too big. The screws just fell out without gripping. Luckily it was on a section that was mostly redundant as this piece is held together with fabric tension and the loose screws were held in by another piece covering them. Some other parts had to be manhandled into place for screw placement. Overall nothing game breaking, just a bit frustrating. Once fully assembled the chair feels sturdy and looks great. I'm glad I purchased this chair and would recommend it to others. ... show more
