Love this chair for the price! Assembly is very straightforward- put it together while half watching TV in a half hour. If you’ve ever built IKEA furniture and can follow pictures, you can build this no problem- it’s a pretty basic design. Not sure why so many negative comments around that. Love the material and color, it’s quite cozy and warm, although it does get a bit uncomfortable after a long period of time and could use some extra cushion, which I’ll be adding. For the cost, that’s a simple fix and I have no complaints or regrets. The wood has a nice finish to it and looks more expensive than it is. It’s very sturdy initially, time will tell how it holds up long term (I don’t have super high expectations but if I get a year out of it I’ll be happy). I’ll be buying another. ... show more

The chair was easy to put together, though some of the parts weren’t identified. I compared the shapes to the straightforward directions and didn’t have a problem. Someone had mentioned that the ottoman had no support beneath it, but that could be easily fixed with a piece of plywood. I tried the chair in all the positions and it was very comfortable. I knew the dimensions but the chair felt bigger, but I do like that I can cross my legs under me and feel supported and I’m 66. I got this for an RV I renovated and I think it’s gonna work well- I don’t know about the ottoman- it may take up too much space ... show more

This chair has a major flaw. One of the pieces wasn’t full shaved out so it can’t fit the bar that holds the back of the chair. Definitely a manufacturing issue Update: After about an hour using a diamond file set I was able to file down all the rough cuts within the bars so the pieces could fit together. Still giving this chair a 1 star review since it requires additional tools for a very obvious manufacturing issue. Once assembled the chair is ok. It's a bit flimsy and not well constructed. The buttons also on the cushions make the chair very uncomfortable. It's also a lot lighter colored in person. ... show more

It’s a fairly comfortable chair to sit in. And it’s an excellent napper. But it loses big points for being quite difficult to put together. There are several different screws, but none of them are labeled. So it is unclear which screw you need when putting the chair together. The chair went together easier than I thought it would (based on other reviews). It took me maybe 15 minutes. I did switch from the Allen key provided and used a screw driver instead. That helped a lot. It’s been about an hour since I got it assembled and both my dogs have claimed it. I’ve been sitting in it for 20 minutes and it’s very comfortable. I know once the memory foam rebounds it will be even better. The fabric is very soft and the adjustment on the back of the chair is nice.
