  • Love this
Color: Warm Palette
True to pigment. Long lasting. Buildable.

  • Pretty palette but you need a primer
Color: Warm Palette
I’ve been using Urban Decay for years. I feel like this is still pretty good quality, but you definitely need a primer to get these shades to show up, otherwise they are so light and powdery that they don’t really appear. The cream shades for highlighting or brows are interesting. They’re a little thick so they are hard to pick up with most of my brushes. I almost need a dedicated spatula-like brush in this palette to help get them out. My favorites are the sparklier shades. When applied over a good primer, they show up well and sparkle nicely. Without primer, they just fluff off the eye and don’t show up. I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of how the palette opens, but it’s largely because it’s so different than my other (hinged) palettes. I keep trying to open it wrong…also I miss having a mirror and have to remember to go use my own large mirror. I wish this just opened like a normal palette with mirror! It's a large palette. I think it will last a long time because you don't need a ton of the shadows once you pick them up on your brush. The colors glide on well and stick effectively if you have a primer. This might not be the quality of my original Naked palette but it's a fun cousin. ... show more

  • Not quite what I expected
Color: Warm Palette
I have been a long-time fan of urban decay and would credit them with all my best pallets over the years, so I was happy to grab this one, and it's no exception - with one exception. I went with the warm colors and it's the ideal combo of creams and powders, dark shades and light, in mattes and shimmers, all of which feel great going on. it's everything you need for casual to classic looks, and it's great for contouring. I've not yet had to wear it for more than a few hours but it still looks perfect then so it seems like it would last all day/night; yet it wasn't hard to remove either. with fun names like "hot yoga" and "tan lines" for the shades, I'm reminded of why I have always enjoyed buying urban decay make-up, even though it seems to get more and more expensive, which brings me to the exception. this pallet is also quite attractive looking, however the feel of it does not match my expectations of Urban Decay quality. it's a very lightweight plastic which is promoted as great for travel, but I actually had an Urban Decay travel pallet similar to this years ago, that was much smaller in size but weighed more than this one. The lovely sliding cover feels like it could break with the slightest mishap, and then what. maybe they are trying to lower production costs due to tariffs rather than passing on additional costs to customers, but the price tag is not exactly small, so I don't know. But if your charging premium brand prices your product should not only work great, but it should also be made well and feel like it too. ... show more

  • Excellent pigments, but TERRIBLE palette
Color: Warm Palette
The pigments, blending, longevity, etc. are all fantastic. This is a premium quality brand, and for that you get a premium quality product. I meant to order the cool one, but got the warm toned instead, and it still works for me -- there's a few colors that are too warm for me to use heavily/for full glam, but with a light touch even the really warm tones still work on my cool/neutral skin. I really love the versatility of this palette -- since it's all warm neutrals, it really is versatile all over the face, as advertised. I always thought having separate eye shimmer and highlighter was a little silly, and this palette has reinforced that belief -- the shimmers are just as good for highlighting my cheekbones as they are on my lids. No eye irritation or texture issues, this goes on and blends very easily/well. The only reason I give this 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the cheapness of the palette itself. It looks quite nice from the front, but upon being examined from ANY other angle, it looks and feels like a $5 dollar store palette instead of a $50, premium brand palette. To start: we had the budget for a fancy, textured cover on this palette, so why don't we have the budget for a mirror? The all-in-one concept behind this is incredible, and its versatility and compactness make it the perfect on-the-go palette -- so why no mirror????? Why no brush holder??? It's such a waste. I don't mind the lack of brush holder so much (since that would be an extra touch) BUT a mirror is the bare minimum. I'm really disappointed that the company couldn't even bother to include a mirror in this $50+ product. Plus, while the palette is very light (which would be, again, great for a purse/travel-friendly palette), it's light because it's made of a very cheap and ugly, low-quality plastic. NEVER in my life have I held a palette that felt THIS cheap outside of a dollar store. The cover is fancy, yes, but the back, inside, and sides of the palette are completely lackluster, flat, plain, cheap-looking plastic. The trays inside the palette aren't even flush, there's small (but visible) gaps between the tray and the palette where they're glued down -- and not just normal types of gaps. These gaps exist because the trays are tilted inside the slots. Again, human error, not a major issue. But I think this does go to show the construction quality. tbh I have to wonder how long the lid is going to last, because with this quality of material, the sliding lid (moving part) will likely be a common point of failure for these palettes. The pigments themselves are excellent, but that doesn't negate the overwhelming cheapness of the palette itself. Maybe the tariffs are squeezing them, I don't know. I just expected better from the brand, especially at this price point. ... show more
