One year and still going strong! I'm an electrician and often times use an SUV for service calls for efficiency. SUVs have limited space for material and tools, and I came across this on towable cart. I've used it for one year now, August 2024 to August 2025, and it is excellent. I mainly use as a mobile "gang box". I use the HDX 40 gallon bin, load the materials and tools into it, strap it down and when I reach the job site, unhitch the cart, roll it where I'm working and set up. No more need for multiple trips. When buying Mulch, Fertilizer, etc. I use it so the inside of my vehicle doesn't stink up. I purchased (separately from auto parts) a set of locking hitch pins. I lock the tow bar into the tow hitch so it can't be removed. I also lock the cart onto the tow bar so it can't release. This gives me a bit of confidence when parked and inside a store that it won't get stollen. My SUV has backup sensors, I have to turn them off. The size of it with everything loaded makes them beep due to the close proximity. The only difficult part I had was figuring out the heigh adjustment on the tow bar. Too low or too high and you'll struggle to get it attached. I also learned to try and park on level surfaces. If parked on an incline, the height changes and it might become a challenge to lock it in place. That is not a design issue, that is a real life issue :). I store mine in the garage. I can't comment on how it will last in weather, salt, and snow, etc. It only comes out while in use and then back into the garage. Overall, excellent compromise between a cargo carrier, hand truck, and rolling tool box. One year in service, and I'm very happy. ... show more

I use it to haul groceries home and it works great! Only thing I wish about it is that it could be less bulky for storage, but it did fold back down close to the size it came folded as. Was easy to put in and take out. Seems built well and spacious. I only used it once so far I hope to use it more in the future. ... show more

This is an amazing cart the way it is on your vehicle and you can tilt it off and carry items through a normal doorway....BUT I found a weak spot on the axles where there is only one part welded instead of two and I've already bent my axle mounts a bit and I did not have too much weight on it I thought... Check out my pictures where they could have done a better job by putting one additional weld on the axle mount. Check out my pics. ... show more

This hitch rack is very nice and sturdy, love the convenience of being able to remove it so easily. I had a couple missing clips as the box was a little damaged but that's to be expected on such a big heavy package and even tho the box was a little beat up the rack had no damage on it anywhere. I reached out to customer support and they responded almost immediately and shipped me the missing clips. Quality: 5 out of 5 (It's exactly as I'd hoped) Shipping: 4 out of 5 (Arrived very quickly, unharmed and it's a big heavy package altho a couple clips had escaped) Customer service: 6 out of 5 (They had the kind of customer service most companies can't even dream of) Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and I would recommend and buy from them again. ... show more

My habit is to wait before reviewing anything. That way my readers know that I have tested each product and I'm not just excited about getting a new product in the mail. I paid full price for this item and it was not offered to me "free" from Amazon Vine. I am extremely disappointed with the MaxxHaul 50243 Foldable Hitch N Roll Cargo Carrier Cart. Right out of the box, the carrier had several major defects that made it unsafe and unusable. Parts of the bottom grate were bent inward, compromising the structure and making it difficult to load securely. Even worse, the gate was assembled incorrectly at the factory and positioned above the guides, leaving it bent and unstable. The nuts are overcoated, so I can’t even fix this (without tools I don’t have.) The biggest issue, however, is with the part that connects to the hitch. It requires assembly upside down, which is alarming and unsafe. I can't trust this product to hold cargo securely on the road. When I contacted the manufacturer, they took a week to respond, only to tell me I could disassemble the cart and fix the issues myself (even after acknowledging that it was a defect from the factory). They did offer me $50 off if I wanted to order a new cart--no thank you, one nightmare is enough. For a product that's supposed to work right out of the box, this is completely unacceptable. I've had this item for 3 months and the defects have rendered it useless. Because it was not assembled correctly at the factory, it remains bent and this has only gotten worse over time. Also, the bolts get loose every time it is used and I have to use a bike wrench to tighten every bolt before and after use. I would not feel right using this on the road and I only use it in the yard. It would be a nightmare if it failed while on the road. I expected better and can't recommend this product. The product works really well. However, design flaw if you're exhaust is on the right side where the wheels are, they melt. My cargo wheel is now deformed. There should be optional setups to reverse the design to match the side your exhaust is on.
