After riding for 2 to 3 weeks we noticed that the 4 simple screws that hold the handlebars in place have all fallen out due to the shaking and bumps of the road. We tried to put new screws the the threading inside is so cheap and bad that they just spin place once reaching the end and do not provide any tightness. Support did nothing but send the same handlebars with the same 4 cheap screws, no washer even. So we tried washer but due to the curved surface they did not help anything and came out again. Bad threading, bad screws, bad support. Stay away from all of these scooters. They come out of the same factory and just put a different Chinese company name on it, but the defect is the same throughout.

We got this for my grandson (10 year old) for Christmas. He LOVES it! We all love it! Everyone of us have ridden it. Now we all want to get one. I love the fact that the speed is controllable and we can keep the speed lower until my grandson gains some experience riding it. The front and back light is a great feature considering it gets dark earlier in the winter. We live on a circle that's 1/2 a mile round. My grandson gets plenty of laps around before he even drops one battery bar. It's the perfect size for a 10 year old. I'm 5' 8 and my husband is 6ft and both of us ride it with ease as well. I could possibly see 3 more of these in my future.

This is a great scooter for a youthful young kid. It has 3 speed modes. With my son’s weight and height, on the fasted level it can reach speeds up to 30 mph. On Eco mode it goes up to 8mph and S mode 13. I was shockingly impressed. I would highly recommend.

The MAXSHOT electric scooter has a lot of potential, and in many ways it delivers. The dual suspension makes a noticeable difference on rougher sidewalks and uneven pavement, giving it a smoother ride than many scooters in this price range. The multiple speed modes are a great touch — being able to switch between 9, 16, 19, and 22 mph makes it versatile for both adults and bigger kids. The app control is surprisingly useful too, letting you adjust settings, lock the scooter, and monitor battery life without digging through menus on the scooter itself. However, my experience wasn’t perfect. Right out of the box, the scooter was missing one of the screws for the handlebar latch, which means it doesn’t fully latch the way it should. It’s still rideable, but it definitely affects confidence in the build quality. For something meant to be folded and unfolded regularly, that missing hardware is a pretty big oversight. Performance has also dipped faster than expected. After only about ten uses — and with a rider under 75 pounds — the top speed in sport mode has dropped by roughly 7 mph. That’s a noticeable difference, especially when one of the selling points is the higher speed capability. It still works, but it’s disappointing to see that kind of decline so quickly. Despite these issues, the scooter does have a lot going for it: solid range, comfortable ride, easy folding mechanism, and a good feature set for commuting or casual riding. If the quality control were a bit tighter and the performance held steady longer, this would easily be a 5‑star product. As it stands, it’s a good scooter with excellent features, but buyers should be prepared to double‑check the hardware and keep an eye on long‑term performance.

This is a great first time scooter for teenager 12 years old around that age. My son loves it. I think it’s the perfect speed for him. It’s not too fast. It’s not too slow. He rides it in the dirt. He rides it in the street over rocks and it holds a charge really well he’s very happy with it and I’m very happy with it.

Really happy with this scooter. The build quality is solid and the ride is smooth. The speed is perfect for kids — safe but still fun. My 11-year-old loves it and rides it every day. It’s actually a better fit for an 11-year-old than for a 16-year-old. Easy to fold, lightweight, and the battery lasts a long time. Great value for the price!
