  • Great for kids and adults
Color: gray-red
This electric scooter is a great option for commuting or just getting around town! It’s easy to set up and the folding design makes it super convenient to store or take with you. The motor has plenty of power for everyday use, and it handles smoothly—even on slightly uneven pavement. The speed is impressive, and the battery life holds up well for short commutes or errands without constantly needing a recharge. I also like the larger tire options, which make the ride feel more stable and comfortable compared to smaller scooters. The display is easy to read, and the overall build feels solid and reliable. Overall, a great value scooter that’s practical, fun to ride, and perfect for daily use! ... show more

  • Very nice scooter and commuter for college use.
Color: gray-red
My daughter didn’t want to bring her bike to college and wanted a scooter. This one seems to fit the bill. We got it yesterday and tested it. It was near 100% charge out of the box. It was well packaged and took a photo. Box was slightly dinged up but no damage to the scooter. Out of the box, it was bigger than expected. It feels solid and nearly fully assembled. Only need to put 4 screws and ready to go. Came with a tool too but the tip of the tool had a burr or ding and didn’t engage on the hex bolt. No biggie, I have tools. Assembly time was just a few minutes. 5 minutes out of the box. App downloaded quickly. Road test. My daughter is about 5’8” and 120 lbs. she has ridden “manual” scooters before. So we started on the ECO mode. Was too slow for her. Went to the D mode and was a little faster. S mode was the fastest. She got up to 19 mph quickly. The brakes are strong to grip she said. She likes the S mode and use the throttle to adjust speed to her liking. My turn… I’m 5’11” and about 192 lbs. I started with the S mode. The ride feels smooth and comfortable. Bumps on the road we absorbed by the front and rear shocks. Cruising at 15-16 mph is fun. I topped at 19 mph and I wanted more speed. Overall… it’s a good quality and fun to ride especially at this price. It’s perfect for my daughter starting college. It’s light enough for her to bring up stairs and down. As for me, if I get one, I would probably get the 500w motor. If the supplier is listening… I would love to demo the heck out of it… hint hint 😁. Now I hope the durability and quality over time is good. I hope it’ll last at least a full year in college if not more. ... show more

  • Before you get one, design is flawed
Color: gray-red
Well, the bike worked till it didn't. I have had it 2 months now and everything was fine until I skidded on the side of the bike and went down. The bike had very little damage, turns on but no acceleration or juice to make it move. The battery is fine and such but keep getting an E7 error now. I have replaced the throttle cable, checked out the motor cables to make sure it's connected and the battery. All is connected but the maker of the scooter decided to coat everything in glue, very dumb idea. So extremely hard to check anything and possibly ruin something else just trying to remove the glue. Great scooter but I would not recommended buying it since now I am stuck with a brick. Everywhere locally I call, it cost more to look at it than the cost of the scooter. Why make it this poorly designed? Not smart. Tried to contact the maker with no success at all. Just the run around. Warranty, sure. Right. Good luck, never buying this again. And an update, seller sent me the wrong replacement part after trying to fix it myself with parts online and again, didn't work. I asked for a refund, will see. Manufacturing these days has just disappeared when it comes to quality and lasting a longtime. Update**** I have tried now 3 times for them to send me the right parts to fix the "throttle" issue and once again, they keep sending me the wrong parts. DON'T BUY this BIKE, I mean, what trash! And AMAZON, you should be ashamed, costumer service didn't help me at all and can't get my money bike! Just garbage all around! Thanks for zero. ... show more

  • MaxShot V1 PRO dual- suspension (1 month review)
Color: gray-red
**THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE MAXSHOT V1 pro dual- suspension MODEL** I waited a month before writing my review to provide a realistic picture for everyone. I have about 75 miles on the scooter so far. Here is everything you need to know: PROS- -Great SHORT commute scooter. I wouldn’t recommend it for a round trip over 5 miles, unless you can re-charge around the 5 mile mark. -Charges pretty fast. I haven’t timed it, but I doubt it’s over 2 hours for a full charge from 0. -It actually goes 19mph as advertised. -The breaks are great. -The suspension works great. -The lights function properly, although the headlight isn’t very bright. I purchased a rechargeable bike light that straps to the handlebars and a red flashing break light for my backpack, and I use those at night. -All of the scooter’s screws came tightened, but I still recommend you double check. -The overall quality of the scooter is surprisingly good for the price. -It only costs $240 (at the time of my purchase, 2025). -The scooter has 3 speed modes and can be adjusted using the Tuya Smart app. The app has other functions like distance tracking via GPS, wheel lock, and cruise control. -Customer service is great. They sent me a battery upon request. -The folding/ locking mechanism works great. CONS: -Turning on the headlight drains the battery extremely fast. -Using the highest speed modes (S), you can only travel 5-7 miles on a full charge. This is the biggest “CON” imo. -I don’t believe the scooter is waterproof/ resistant at all. It has no IPX rating. For the price, you can’t really complain, but still a “CON”. I don’t ride in wet conditions at all. -The wheel lock on the app only works while the scooter is turned on. If you shut it off, the wheels can roll again. If they fixed that, it would be a game changer. -Finding spare parts will not be easy unless you figure out how to purchase directly from the manufacturer. Maxshot is a fairly uknown brand, but the scooter works great for the price range. -You can’t turn off cruise control or change speed modes without accessing the app. In order to register your scooter, you need to scan the QR code that comes with the little panflet in the scooter’s packaging. Do NOT throw that panflet away. You may not be able to access the app and customize the settings without it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. For the price, you probably won’t find much better. The main issues to me are the max distance on speed (S) mode (5-7 miles), the wheel lock only working when the scooter is on, and the lack of water resistance. But again, for $240, you definitely get what you pay for. You will need to pay much more money if those are deal breakers to you. I definitely recommend for novice e scooter riders, short commutes, or something to get you around a campus. If this is your first e scooter, I recommend starting on the slower speed setting. Make sure you buy and wear a helmet that fits, avoid potholes, don’t take sharp turns while accelerating, don’t ride in wet conditions, and buy additional lights/ high visibility clothing to be visible at night. Be safe! Thanks for reading. ... show more
