This thing is great. 2nd season I've used it for weed eating. This year I had to cut down a good 3ft high tall grass section about 3' wide by 10' long and one battery life lasted for about 75% of the job, which I was surprised by. Love that it comes with 2 batteries, makes getting through a big job like that in one go very doable. The blades are good quality. I'm still on the same first blade I started with and only have a few slight bends in the teeth of the blade.

I depended on the opinion of others and am quite satisfied with this product. It is lightweight and well balanced. We used it for clearing vines from the berry patch and it breezed right through them. It was a bit weak cutting through the half inch ones, but did the job. It's quiet and the battery life was outstanding. The downsides were that the shaft isn't that long and at 5'5", I had to hunch over a bit and it was tiring. The blade does not stop immediately upon releasing the trigger and could be dangerous. It is not a unit for lefties, either-the safety button is operated with the right thumb and I had to start the blade with my right hand, then switch the unit to my left hand without releasing the trigger. It was a bit awkward and could be dangerous. Wear safety glasses because this thing throws debris. Excellent for the price,, though, and I'm curious if it meets US safety standards.

Had high hopes with no load the unit spun the blade right up. I have lots of brush around my property. It bogged down on 1/2 limbs had work it slowly to cut thru limb, about 30 minutes into it the motor started smoking. Also the extendor started sliding in while I cut. They gave me a refund for my purchase. Light duty only,if you buy it make sure to use right away so you can get refunded if it doesn't work.

I've seen reviews that were negative regarding this product. For yard trimming of brush and weeds it's plenty powerful. Not commercial duty bit for the homeowner adequate. My only complaint is the box might have been a return. Parts and hardware were just stuffed in the box with loose bolts etc. I found everything and all seems to work well.

I was very skeptical when I received the box because it was so light. However, I was quickly liking this little light beast. This weed wacker is way better than I had expected. It's very sturdy and I'm able to cut down some seriously tough weeds with these blades. And one battery lasts longer than I can in this AZ heat. I'm still on my first straight blade and I've done some serious damage to the weeds already, but the blade is holding up very well. I haven't even used one of the circular saw blades yet. Having 7 more of these blades, I'm sure this little machine will last pretty long and I'll definitely get my moneys worth. I'm 6'1" and it extends to a comfortable length for me. The tilting head is awesome!

It worked great, until it was time to change the blade. The blade eventually broke off as there doesn't seem to be a way to hold the spinning part still while removing the nut. The nut has had WD-40 applied, nothing moves it. So it was good for...one blade's worth of work. The instructions are just to "loosen the bolt" but that seems impossible. The battery still works, just no ability to replace the blade so very short-lived tool.

Definitely lightweight in weight and productivity. Used once. Just once. I got a good amount cut nothing thicker than tall grass with the battery life but then it made a weird noise and the blade went dull. Just. Stopped. Cutting. Tried to replace the blade (I was excited to try the wheel blade next) but the bolt would not budge. Worked on that for about 30 minutes and said forget it. Not sure what happened but it’s going back. It did work and worked well….. until it didn’t. 3 stars but would not recommend.
