The media could not be loaded. I’m really glad I picked up this chopper. My yard always piles up with sticks and branches, and this machine has made cleanup way easier. It handles branches up to about 1.8 inches without any problem, and the mulch it produces is surprisingly fine. I’ve been reusing it around my garden beds, which feels so much better than just tossing everything into bags. The 15:1 reduction ratio really cuts down the bulk too, which saves me a lot of space. This is meant for the back yard gardener. I got mine last month and also bought an extra set of blades so when my first wore our i had the new ones at hand. Still using the first blades. It does a great job cutting up the 1-1.8 in branches very well. Nice small cuts. The tiny stick branches though seen to pass thru uncut. The leaves seem to break up easly for the most part too. Pine needles not at all though. Living in south GA we have a lot. But i will still use all of this as mulch and compost. So for me its well worth the small price to help me outside. The big peices we cant chip we just let dry to use as fire wood than use the ash in some spots of our garden and compost heap. Worth the purchase and fun. The tote allows for ease of use too. Not deafening noise level but it is a chipper. When finished chipping I suggest opening it up and blowing off all the peices and saw dust inside to keep it in good working order.

Works good, but blades don't last long. Thought the hopper would be a little bigger and would be able to do leaves as well. Noise level is as expected. Easy to clean. Price is about right.

Worked great for about 10 min. On 2nd use, it stopped feeding and did more shredding than mulching, then stopped all together. Definitely returning it.

Easy to use wood chipper. I use this wood chipper for small brances and sticks around the house. The woods chips end up being great for mulch for my garden. This took some good sized branches, but I wouldn't go overboard. The shredder is light and easy to move around on the wheels. Overall I'm happy with my puchase and would purchase again.

Works with some types of branches, but not all. When it is compatible, it does a good job of chipping the wood up. It was able to easily chew up the wood from a mesquite tree, but struggled with the thin, more leafy sections from a large bush. The feed area is quite narrow, so you'll need to do a lot of cutting up the branches by hand before running them through.
