January 2026 update: Still working great. I use this almost everyday along with my furnace in these michigan winter months. I find it helps give that extra oomph of heat by 3-4*F in the 3 main rooms which makes a big difference, especially when the wind chill goes to the negative temperatures. December 2024..I’m going on my third winter having this fireplace. It sits in the dining room connected to kitchen and livingroom. It’s in 30*F outside and my furnace went out yesterday. This, with help of small floor heater, is somehow keeping all 3 rooms at 65*F all day! Last year, due to ice storm, I had no power for 4 days at negative temperatures. Plugged this into a generator which helped keep us from freezing. During normal use, it warms the room nicely. One improvement would to have it recall your last or favorite setting (color and heat).

Love the look of this and the ambiance it gives to my apartment. I like that there are multiple color options. It heats well. Things I don't like...its a little noisy when on and the beeps it makes when changing settings is very loud. It was a little difficult to put together but I'm very happy I purchased it.

Very nice fireplace, solid construction, and the added bonus is the thermostat. It was very important for me to find a fireplace with a thermostat. Majority of the ones I found was on/off with a 1H to 8H timer. I love that I can set the temperature and the heater will turn on and off to keep the temperature in the room constant. The only reason I only gave a 4 star is because of the flame window. The flame window is too small for the design look I want. I want a bigger flame window for the design I'm going for. But the flame looks great, you can adjust the brightness and change the colors.

For the price I expected a light weight, thin metaled fireplace insert. It was surprisingly well made, with heavy gauge metal. The remote control is a bit of a pain if you like to change things up a lot. You have to cycle through each setting to get to the one you want. If you miss it you have to go around again. One nice thing, the brightness setting seems to be remembered. Nothing else does, so you have to turn on the fireplace, then click again to get low heat and then again if you want high heat. We just use it on high most of the time. I did test out the temperature settings and the fireplace did turn off when reaching the set temperature. Since the remote uses IR, I have just programmed my home assistant to go to the settings I want. So I can confirm that it works. One thing that might be of import to some is that it does not quite flush mount. I wold say there is a space of about 1/8 to 3/16 inch from flush. All in all a very good purchase. I flush mounted so cannot comment on wall mounting our the floor feet that came with it.

I purchased this fireplace unit to replace another that had stopped working in my Grand Design fifth wheel. It is so much better than the original installed by camper company. It's measurements were accurate and fit perfectly! This unit had multiple light color displays as well as multiple heat settings. I want another for my master bedroom. Great unit.

We received the first fireplace no problem, it was packaged well and I tested prior to install and it fizzled within an hour. After contacting Customer support and running through some tests with Fiona from MaxHonor. They determined that I had a faulty unit and immediately sent a replacement fireplace, no hassles at all. I received the second fireplace in short order and have not had any problems with it at all. I would recommend this fireplace 100%. Maxhonor stands by their products and Fiona and the customer service department were very easy to work with. I would recommend and purchase again from them in the future. Thank you again Fiona and MaxHonor, we have enjoyed our fireplace for several months now without any issues. Great product and really completes our basement.

The fireplace is everything it was reported to be. Sturdy construction. Love the firewood or "glass" cubes choices. The colors are awesome. All good so far. We have just about finished the installation of the fireplace. We are putting in over (as in over top of) our existing gas fireplace. I think when we get the gray tile put on, it will give the whole room a modern look.
