This set is wobbly at best, when stacked. It's made out of cheap plastic and doesn't keep food warm. The bottoms have ridges on them to help them stack. The color is a muted white. They aren't heavy and feel like they're easy to break. It says not to use them in the microwave. I'm assuming it's because of the cheap material. I got them to use on my patio to avoid my porcelain dishes getting accidentally broken but these are barely a step up from using paper.

Love these dishes! Modern design for a beautiful tablescape, and we like the melamine for outdoor dining. Super sturdy weight, clean up nicely in the dishwasher, and everything you need in the set. Love that there’s a platter, serving dishes, large bowl for pasta or salad, and they have LIDS! And they all nest or stack together - very handy for our small space, and makes it look neat and clean stored on our counter. They look great, holding up to use/abuse by our kids. Just as white and bright as when we first unboxed them. Great design with modern contours, and perfect that white coordinates with everything. Highly recommend.

Hellerware | Massimo & Lella Vignelli, Max 1 25pc set in white....words I regret, and purchase I regret. I thought I would LOVE the mid century Museum Of Art design dish set. Nope. My daughter asked me what I was thinking. I think I fell for the whole "designer" description. Ok, well, I admit I love the "idea" of the compact stackability-they look nice and neat. It appeals to my inner "ocd". What I found troubling, and wasn't included in the listing, is that you CANNOT microwave these. Melamine is "not a conductor; it is considered an insulator, meaning it does not readily conduct heat or electricity, making it good at maintaining temperatures and staying cool to the touch even when serving hot food". But, that makes it inappropriate for microwaving. The lack of ability to be microwaved removes a lot of our household use. I thought the white would look chic. It doesn't, it actually makes it look like cafeteria dishes. Sigh. And from what I can tell looking at some used ones, the white tends to age poorly with discoloration towards a yellowish hue. Lastly, the valuation is too much at $300. I could have chosen something else that could be microwaved...

I love these dishes! 50 years ago, early in my marriage I bought the exact same dishes in yellow. Still have a couple of pieces left. I was shocked to see them in 2024. I bought them in white. Brings back memories!!
