Was super worried about not having a box spring but it’s better without. My husband and I are both overweight with a combined weight of about 575. Our mattress is approximately 300. Then add in a 70 pound child occasionally, 55 pound dog, and a 15 pound cat. Lol. I was seriously worried about the weight capacity when looking at frames. We have a amazing one from my grandparents but it’s to big for our apartment. This looks great and I was able to assemble on my own while my husband was at work. Took maybe two hours. Adds some firmness which isn’t a bad thing cause I have major back problems. The height is great. Probably going to be ordering another one for my daughters room.

Bought as a guest bed and wish we would’ve spent a little more for better quality. All you get is the basic frame. Zero instructions, zero hardware. I had to take a trip to the hardware store and spend close to $30 on bolts that should’ve came with. The parts that did come were scuffed, welded crooked, and had rust in the nut plates. Good ol Chineseium! Essentially we spent over $100 in total. Do NOT buy this. We may return this just on principle one my family leaves next week

Because of the excellent customer service, I am updating my review. Originally, the bed that arrived had one leg that was machined upside-down, meaning it had to be installed upside-down because of the position of the holes for the screws. After I posted my initial review complaining about this, customer service reached out. They were very polite, and sent a new bed frame with priority shipping, which arrived even quicker than the original bed! This new bed frame had no issues and I actually like it a lot. The screws are mislabeled, which is irritating, but it is very easy to tell which of the 3 types of screws has to be used for each step of installation as long as you know the instructions aren't correct. The new bed frame was very easy to put together, whereas the first one was a little bit of a pain. Maybe they stepped up their quality control, because the second one is perfect, with all pieces aligned perfectly. Things I love about the bed frame: The finish on the metal is great. There are no sharp bits, and it's easy to put together. The color of the screws blends into the frame. I think a thin mattress or a thick mattress would look equally good with it. The headboard and footboard are stylish, and there is plenty of space underneath to put storage bins. Plus, there's enough support beams that even a thin mattress feels evenly supported.
