It works, if you have the patience to get it on.

Whoever invented the bed bridge loves a good struggle. I put this on by myself. It took like 20 minutes of sweat and cursing, as one corner popped free as soon as I got the opposing side on. Granted I was fusing a full mattress to a twin so the large size didn’t help. But once it’s on, it does what it says it does. And I guess that’s all that matters in the end.

We can finally cuddle and spoon again!

I know that the reviews on this product are varied, but for us, this has been the perfect solution. We recently bought a King adjustable bed, which is actually 2 XL Twin Mattresses on a King-sized Platform Bed Base. We bought the highest-end luxury mattresses that are very deep, around 18". We decided to go with the Split King because we like different adjustment settings so we wanted individual control. The first night we slept in them, we experienced a gap between us, large enough to swallow an elephant. UGH....we were bummed that we may have made a mistake, so we started devising DIY ways to fill the gap, but none worked. SO we bought this gap filler with the belt to hold the mattresses together. The belt is the key to this working for us. Our mattresses are so thick that the belt has a large amount of space to be tightened and hold on. Our only complaint is that the tabs attached to the space filler are not long enough to reach halfway down the thickness of the mattresses, so the belt is not quite as secure as it could be if this were remedied. But it holds up long enough between changing the bedding. We leave the twin fitted sheets on each bed, then place the gap filler on, with the final part of the process adding a full King Fitted sheet on top of the gap filler. We can finally cuddle in bed without falling into the gorge.

Kinda does the job, but doesn't stay put

Great idea, and it mostly does what it says. But we do have to readjust it every morning when we make the bed because it tends to slip up or down during the night. Also not really made for a dual adjustable bed when each side is in a different position. The actual crack filler also moves around a lot.

Great for pop up trundle twin bed to king conversion

PERFECT. I got two twin beds for my pop up trundle for guest room. This makes them appear seamless. My mom even asked how is it so perfect if you have two beds, where is the hole in the middle? Told her it was this converter. I have had multiple guests sleep on the beds with this and they all said how great they slept. Easy to put on too. Great product.

I've had this installed for one night. Straps do not stay on if you have an adjustable base. The centerpiece is short too definitely not 78" as advertised unless they're counting end to end including length of the straps on the centerpiece. I'd never buy this again and would advise anyone who is thinking about it to save your money and come up with some other solution to keep the mattresses from separating. I think the only way to get the strap that goes around the mattresses work would be to run it around the center of the mattresses and cinch them together that way. Then the strap cant pop off when you move the base up and down.

The pad really fills the gap and spreads wide side flaps to blend with the mattresses. The belt to hold the mattresses together is very generous and very effective.

straps helpful

We made this work. The loops on the bridge could be longer. Others noted belts were too long. However, we used this length as an advantage to really capture and securing the mattress together.
