First of all, I’m a 48 year old woman, 5’4” tall. I was able to assemble 97% of this gazebo by myself. The only part I needed help with was stretching the fourth corner of the canopy over the “eave.” It is a very tight. After assembly I screwed it down (with 3” screws) to a free-floating deck built with 2x6s. We’ve had 3 days of storms with lots of wind and rain and so far the gazebo is holding up well. I’m confident in it’s strength and just put up my solar string lights!

Super happy with this purchase. It's great quality, looks good, and has held up through several major rain and thunderstorms, although we do have it tied down just in case. We used it to create an outdoor living room, which we use daily. The netting keeps the bugs out. It did take a lot of time to assemble. About two hours for one person.

Product came in a decent amount of time, 2 people are needed to get it where you want it. Very simple assembly instructions, not much detail in the 'how to' end of it and no available video instructions online. The instructions also do not include necessary tools: two, 10mm ratchets and one 8mm (pretty sure) ratchet. Things that may help that are mentioned further down in my review are a handheld grommet punch tool with grommets (do so before canvas is assembled) and an RV Awning Stabilizer Kit or two. I wound up going to a competitor's video and modifying it to my MasterCanopy. No missing pieces, parts came in good order except one leg support was bent in a little, and it was packed fairly well. Installation was not easy or quick, as can be expected - DEFINITELY not a one-man job. Assembly of parts into the 4 sides was easy enough for one person, be sure to leave bolts finger-taught until canopy is in final position when all can and need to be tightened down. It took 3 of us to connect the supports together when it came time to stand it up and to attach parts at the very top. (Be careful when pulling the material over the supports sons to not rip it.) One person with an 'a-frame' ladder in the middle and one at each end at the bottom (preferably taller than the 5'5" I am!). A strong storm came through shortky after we had ours up and bent two of the vertical supports where they connect at the top (see photo), roughly 60 mph sustained winds. We attached each of the foot supports inside a plastic planter with approx. 10 lbs. of pea gravel inside before the storm. I pre-drilled drain holes in the bottom of the planters, too. Don't waste your time looking for pre-manufactuted weights, they will not fit around the legs of the canopy. After the storm, we changed out the planters for larger ones and added a 70-lb sand tube's worth of sand to each one thereafter. That seemed to do the trick. Water pools up at the bottom of the material, make sure the canopy material is as tightly pulled down as possible. In retrospect before assembly, it might have been helpful to add grommets to the bottom of the canopy material with a handheld grommet punch tool to aid in prevention of rail pooling up. Another option to consider for anchoring is an RV Awning Stabilizer Kit (2-pk at WalMart is $10, in RV aisle). I spotted this after ours had been up amnd wonder if this would help. Hope this info helps and enjoy your canopy!

The canopy failed and collapsed under snow I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement for shipping cost which was $110 can’t wait to get it back up

Just put this up and it looks nice. Purchased this particular gazobo because it fit the intended space perfectly. Yesterday we had a nice hard rain, had water running down the inside on the canopy support rails and the canopy itself. The product description claims the canopy is waterproof. NO SO MUCH, just a false claim. Seller claims that the metal parts are powder coated, again NOT SO MUCH. There is no contact info for the seller listed. I did go to the Mastercanopy store and left a inquiry about the warranty, if any. That was about a week ago, NO RESPONSE! In short, save your money, buy something else from another seller, AND BEYOND ALL MEANS PURCHASE THE ASURION EXTENDED WARRANTY, you will need it. I will reach out to Amazon first but this piece of junk will be going back. And in closing a word of advise, if you decide to get a gazibo from any seller on Amazon, make sure it is PRIME backed.

Upon setup of the cover, noticed stitching undone and frayed about 2 inches. Covered it with the top unit that is for ventilation and hoped it would be okay because the top unit seem to cover all of it. 2 days later, during a rainstorm, the whole inside and all of the furniture was saturated so it would seem that it’s not as water resistant as advertised in the description. We’re disappointed because we were really looking forward to sitting outside even if it was raining. Thinking that we should have bought a hard top. Other than that it was an easy setup and the canopy is nice looking and the frame seems to be sturdy. It’s too bad because a couple of my neighbors were interested in purchasing one but now they are unsure.

We have not had this gazebo for long. But, it is worth a positive review. It is easy to assemble, seems sturdy, and of good quality, for the money spent. We have not made it through any significant amount of time with this gazebo. So, take this for what it is worth.
