This is our second time purchasing this item, and we love it. The previous one lasted 4 years, and the shade was starting to look a bit dingy, but was working fine until we dropped a large tree branch on it, ripped a hole in the canopy and bent the frame (it was a BIG branch!) And even with a bent frame, it stayed upright and sturdy (I included a photo of the old one so you can see the extent of the damage that it withstood). I'm hoping this new one will last as well or better, since it is a dark gray instead of tan like the previous one, which showed the staining through the light fabric. The steel frame & canopy top are sturdy, and stand up to all our NorCal weather storms just fine. Assembly is pretty straightforward, with all parts labeled and clear picture directions. Two people can manage it easily. That said, it is definitely meant to stay up, not a portable tent-style. If you're looking for an attractive, sturdy, durable and relatively inexpensive gazebo/canopy for your yard, I highly recommend this one.

A little smaller than I was supposed to order- my bad! But looks great and very secure in wind ( we bolted it down with 2 screws for each leg through the deck into a bottom piece of wood. I am happier with the quality of this cabapy than the material of my last canapy and the coating on the metal looks like it will last a lot longer than my last canapy. Tge xanapy extends 6 inches further on each side than the legs I wish I had gotten a 10x10.

Pros: *Opening the box to completely assembled and finished in one hour *All the pieces were in the box and stupid easy to put together *no stripped screws or nutserts *Better than older designed cheap Gazebos *Value for the money *Decent powder coat finish *All four corner points on main tarp and top tarp piece have adjustment points to make the tarp tighter as it ages and sags Cons: *Cheap welds on everything *Plastic anchor points for the bottom of the roof canopy will lead to premature failure *Top anchor point is plastic, very cheap and will probably fail soon Overall, for $170 you cannot expect much in the way of sturdy manufacturing, and this is as cheap as everything else made in China. Better than the old one I am replacing where the frame lasted 10 years, and I changed out the canvas every 3 years since I did not remove the tarp in winter months. If you are in a mild weather climate, low winds (think Southern CA), the structure should last many years. Anywhere else with normal seasonal weather... who knows, but I wouldn't trust it. Put loc-tite on all the metal screws so you don't have to tighten them later on as it flexs. If they would have made the connection points and top center piece in metal, I'd give it 5 stars at this price...

Bought this to replace a different brand that got twisted in the wind. Easy to assemble on my own. Was flimsier then the other brand I replaced, but felt sturdy once staked down. A week later, the canopy top ripped through one of the corner pockets that was designed to hold it in place. Hard to find an 11x11 top to replace it with, so will probably just purchase a different brand to replace the entire unit. * Edit: Sewed the end of the canopy together to try and get through a season. About a week later I noticed that the front center was sagging on the canopy. Went to investigate and discovered that the truss failed at the center point. The welds broke away and the two vertical supports in the middle of the truss broke out and the entire truss was just dangling. I was going to weld it back together, but when I inspected the other trusses, over half of them were cracked at the center point. At that point, I just took the entire structure down to prevent possible injury.

After losing many accordion folding pop up tents to FL storms, salt erosion and sun rot I decided to go with this screw together model. I am very very happy with this tent. It’s strong enough to hang a few plants from, string lights, etc. The entire top frame snaps off so you can take the canopy cover and top off, which makes it able to withstand a very light hurricane (as long as you use the strap downs and pegs). In a more serious hurricane I recommend chucking the frame in the pool for safe keeping. I’m very satisfied with this tent compared to the others available. It’s very roomy and the bars are high enough that my 6 foot husband doesn’t keep smacking himself in the forehead walking under them. Very easy and quick to put together. The legs are approximately as big around as a baseball bat, and though they are hollow, the metal feels like it’s not easily dentable nor easily rusted.

I have bought several (all more expensive) and this one is far superior. I am 75 and was easily able to put this together by myself. Love the top. Visibly re-inforced, and despite weeks of Texas storms it hasn't sagged, color (beige) has not faded, or changed color. Water still runs off well, table underneath doesn't get wet, and no puddles on the canopy.
