This is a wonderful replacement for one of those "got too many extras" units that take up a lot of space and are hard to remove from the water.     • The pictures advertised are misleading.

The pictures show the speed setting are 0-100 but when you read the features it says 1-5. Was really hoping it would come the way the pictures showed because with the 1-5 settings trolling the banks on setting 1 is too fast and you constantly have to turn it off and on in between casts instead of just being able to fish. Even the box I received it in shows 0-100 on the picture. Why change your product and not all the pictures you use to sell it? ... show more

Bought this as a Birthday present for my Son-in Law. He says it is perfect for his saltwater fishing, down in the Gulf of Mexico. Of course he uses it to move short distances when fishing, but it has come in very handy when he has had engine trouble and he didn't have to call anyone to be towed in to the pier. A Great trolling motor; powerful, quiet, no issues using it in salt water. I’m using it on an inflatable dinghy, as primary propulsion, and it has performed very well. The boat is 10ft, with one thwart, and I was able to propel three people and gear to-and-from our boat with ease.
