Easy easy set up. After 3 days a freak storm with very high winds blew through when we were not home. Though I had taken extra steps to secure the canopy to my deck and house, the winds got under it and pulled up and over the deck. All steel pieces were intact. The attachment points at each leg were broken in several places. The customer service staff went above and beyond in supplying me with new legs and a canopy to make repairs. Fabulous customer service! Lesson learned. Dont just lower the frame before a pending high wind storm, take off the canopy. Its so easy to take off and put back on. ... show more

We finally set up the canopy. It's not hard to assemble, but you do need a hand to help you, especially when stretching the canopy to its full length and then raising it to its full height. It's a nice replacement when you're not ready to spend thousands of dollars to build a permanent pavilion. On windy days, you need to make sure to reinforce it. First one we received was assembled incorrectly (a long pole was attached where a short one should have been) and when we opened it, the long pole bent with zero pressure whatsoever. The replacement came, we got it put up, anchored it, everything was good until the first breath of wind the FIRST day it was up and the canopy supports bent like they weren't even there. I decided to go with this gazebo versus others because it was listed on Amazon for $56 on a flash sale. I had ordered it well in the flash sale timing, but I was charged the full price of $179.99. Was a bit upset by that, but not too upset with this gazebo. To me, it feels less than 13x13, as I have measured the area it was to go, several times, for a future deck over a new patio to go out in that area, and where I measured 13', it did not reach that area. It is more of a 10x10 according to my measurements, but they may have meant the diagonal/cross measuring, which it might be there. It was fairly easy to put together and heightened appropriately. I am 5'6, and I was able to get it to full height. I am no stranger to these tents, and I usually have issues getting the corners of these types of gazebos locked in to stay and usually have to have my husband do those, but I was able to get them locked after about 5-10 minutes each corner of struggle in the NC blazing humid heat and direct sunlight in July (was about 95°+ with 90% humidity and cloudless sky- with someone known to be prone to heat exhaustion, can you say heat casualty?! Lol). It was a welcome relief when I finally got them! I did all the setup myself, so it CAN be done with one person, but having a second pair of hands would greatly speed the process up. It has done its job well for our smaller back patio area. There are grommited holes on each side about two feet into the fabric- just above the color change, so it leaks in those areas. Not exactly sure the reason for those holes and in that placement, as the securing lines are literally attaches to the internal corners. Maybe more security with non-supplied additional ropes?? There are holes in the feet so the gazebo can be scured into a dirt or wood patio area, but since our patio area has cement, I chose the securing lines and stakes. The stakes seem very small and flimsy, but they have been holding strong through some really good winds so far. But other than that, works great. I have gotten some solar powered 32' fairy lights and strung them up along the inner supports for some night lighting (I didnt want big, gawdy lights) and it looks great! Originally got it to cover our grill for when we wanted to grill in the rain or blazing heat, which it works for. Unfortunately, with those holes in those placements, we have to move our grill in a lot to keep from rain leaking on it. On sunny days, we can push it back to just the outer edge where it is supposed to be placed. It does cover a SMALL conversation set and grill, but if you are looking for coverage of a larger patio set and grill, this one might not be for you. A large patio set will be covered just fine, or a grilling area, but not full size patio set and grill together. It fits our needs and location well, so I can't complain too hard because of the holes or price gouge. I'd say definitely worth the $56, not so much $180. Just my opinion. ... show more

I’ve owned it 2 years now. Patched top to use 1 more year. When I unboxed it one of the flimsy tie down strings was warn and one wheel from the case broke while unboxing. Not important to me. I did keep it up all summer. I tied it down better than what was supplied. Also if I had high winds I lowered it. Mostly lasted as expected due to UV. Since the frame held up. I would love to purchase a replacement top or info on a company that has one. Try to keep my carbon footprint as low as I can. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this gazebo tent in February. I decided to put it up at the new house that we moved to. As I was attempting to put it up, it broke. I watched several videos to make sure I was putting it up right. As I pulled it to extend it to its fullest, I hear what I thought was was a click. But it wasn't a click, it was the metal snapping.
