I do massage therapy and have upgraded 3 times in the last 3 years, with different brands always buying used tables. My last one was a Master massage Chicago, which was the one I liked the most because of how much padding it had, so naturally I looked at Master Massage as an option, along with Earthlite. Earthlite may be a good brand but I didn’t like it that much as I do the Master Massage brand. I feel Master Massage has better cushioning and stronger covers (personal opinion). I considered getting Master Massage Newport choice since a client of mine has it, and I love it. I just couldn’t get rid of the itch of wanting to know what the Montour LX was like so I got it, and I’m happy with my decision. After lots and lots of research, reading comments, and lots of hesitation because of the price, I went for it, and I’m glad I did. It is heavy but strong, and comfortable. It is definitely heavier than the last table I owned, but like I said also comfortable, wide enough, lots of cushion, and it looks good! The dark color of the wood makes a good contrast to the silver covering 👌. The headrest was what sold it to me to be honest, and the 3 inches of cushion. I wanted to try something different, and in my opinion the headrest is comfortable. I do mobile massages with it, and I keep thinking maybe the Newport was a better option because of the weight, (lighter than this one) so I may get the Newport in the future, for now i’ll stick with this one. By the way, my clients have only good things to say about the table. I love it.

I am very happy with this massage table. I am a physical therapist and I am accustomed to using a hydraulic table with my patients. I have also used many different portable tables through the years and I am often disappointed with the lack of stability. The Montour is much different. I bought it to be able to give my wife massages and I am very impressed with how stable this table is. The top has a good balance between softness and support which is helpful for certain techniques and is very comfortable to lay on. The legs adjust easily and the fact that I can quickly set it up and break it down is a huge plus. I really like the adjustable face cradle. Being able to adjust both the tilt angle and the height of the cradle makes positioning the patient/client/wife so much better for everyone. The arm rest platform feels strong and it is nice to have two different heights to choose from. While it is on the heavier side I attribute that to the quality of the materials used and how stable it is once setup. The carry case included has a shoulder/hand strap combo which helps to reduce the pressure on your shoulder and give you better control while carrying it. There are a couple of extras that come with the table including a massage music CD and a pack of face cradle covers which are great. I have to admit that I do not use this in my professional practice as I purchased it for home use only though I would highly recommend this table to anyone looking for a quality massage table at a reasonable price point.

Yes, it's a bit heavy and not really as portable as a card table, but it IS portable. Solid - this table does not sway or shift - even when the wife and I are both on it using it for extracurricular activities. COMFORTABLE - it's seriously amazing how nice this is to lay on, and the head support adjusts wonderfully (it does take a bit of time to figure out how the secondary tilt adjustment works, but then it's cake). Setting it up is easy but I can see where someone shorter than about 5'5" may struggle a bit as the weight with the 30" width might present a challenge to reach across and flip it upright. I've also found that you don't want to drag it across carpet as the feet grip well and you could potentially torque it enough to stress the wood legs, so I generally have someone else lift the other end if it needs to be re-positioned. Still, five stars because of the overall quality and comfort. VERY pleased with this purchase!

after agonizing over which table to get I decided to spend a bit more and get the Master massage 30" Montour....and I have to say taking it right out of the box im impressed. yah it has the new plastic smell but i expect that to be gone soon after letting it air out. Everything else looks great, may be a bit heavy but hey I wanted a sturdier folding table. Im 6'1" 210 and it felt solid when i laid on it and made no noise at all. Legs are easy enough to change height and the head rest and accompanying arm rest slide in easily. Time will tell if the headrest mechanism stays solid but from first blush it looks good. Feels like I made the right choice and will update as I begin to use it if i have any issues.....

This is definitely heavy duty. The only thing that isn't very great is that it is very very heavy. Heaviness it great for durability but not when you want to make it portable it can be challenging I have to buy a dolly for it. Otherwise it's well worth the price. It came with a bagcase, a knee pillow, a small batch of face cloths for the head piece and a spa cd that came in a dvd case with a set of four cds. Well worth the money for durability but if I had the choice I would say it's better for single room setting.

I just received this table and immediately tested it out. Remained sturdy and very comfortable. Well worth the money and a nice travel bag with a total of 4 zipper compartments came with it. I just wish I would have taken a picture of how everything was inside the table. Everything fits in the zipper bag compartments except for the arm cradle and now I can not figure out how that was in the table when folded. If anyone can remember I would appreciate it!
