  • Very good quality, effective and well worth the price
I spent a lot of time researching the available options for blow guns and finally decided on this one. It was maybe $8 more than the typical, cheap ones that seem to be widely available, but I felt that it was worth paying a little more for a good quality product. I am glad I made this choice. I bought this is clean off the coils under our refrigerator because I could only do so much with our vacuum because none of the attachments were long enough to effectively reach the coils. The tool worked perfectly for that purpose and I'm sure I will find lots of other uses for it in the future. I will also note that this tool should be the last one I'll ever have to buy because it is very solid and well made. It is a high-quality product and well worth the price (or more, in my opinion). Also, for anyone who may be wondering, the tip DOES have a clean silicone tip on it. Some pictures showed it with one and some without, so this was a plus. As to the flow control dial, it does not operate like a typical valve that turns from MIN to MAX. Instead, it rotates 360 degrees and simply is at minimum airflow when the two '-' symbols are parallel with the handle and maximum airflow when the two '+' symbols are parallel. You can vary the airflow between the two points as well. I set it to MAX and it does put out a power jet of air, which was quite effective in removing the debris from the coils that I couldn't get to with the vacuum. I used 140 PSI from my 6-gallon compressor and using it full blast I would empty my compressor and operate with reduced pressure within about 20-30 seconds, so I would have to stop and wait for it to build pressure, then resume. I'm glad I chose this gun over the other Capri 'High Performance' gun, because my compressor would have been way too small for that one. I also found that you can control the air output using the hand trigger, so it's not just a straight ON/OFF. Also, for my needs, I like that the tip is not angled, like most seem to be. I found it easier to use for what I was doing. The only additional thing I would like to see is longer tips available for this model. They seems to have options for the other gun, and different accessories for this one, but I did not see longer tips. If you're looking for a high-quality air blow gun, this is definitely the one to get. ... show more

  • Not OSHA for sure!
If you like and have a blow gun like this, like I do, and use it in an not OSHA friendly way, like I do, to clean chips out of small bores, like nothing else does.... Then you know when I say there are times you wish you could dial it down for other tasks. This is perfect. Love it. Use it every day now for a week or so. Cleans up nice. Seems durable. The knob is out of the way and convenient and easy to adjust from a gentle puff to clear a bench from debris, in to that small caliber swarf launcher you need to make sure that screw goes in the hole without galling up. I use this in an industrial environment and it sees no love. I am sure it would crush as easy as any other blow gun or break if it gets hurled on to something hard when the air line gets jerked. But it will hold up to grease, oil, what ever is on your rag to cut the grease oil and dirt. Throwing it a drawer in your box ain't going to hurt it any either, unless maybe it's your hammer drawer, the tube is nice and slender and just the sort of thing the hammers in the hammer drawer hates the most, with the possible exception of an iPhone. ... show more

  • Fantastic Product
Pro's: - Ergonomical - Lightweight - Made with good materials Con's: - The nozzle has to be re-tightened occasionally - The blue air pressure adjustor in the back WILL fall off I detail cars and it definitely isn't clean work. I love this product, pushes out a good strong amount of air. So much that if you aren't careful you could blow off chrome on the dash. The things I would redue on this product if I could would be replacing the rubber tip at the end of the nozzle with something more sturdy, it will eventually start tearing. Having the nozzle have a tighter hold onto the gun component itself. It is very convenient to have the capability to unscrew and screw on different attachments though. The blue air adjustor on the back... Amazing feature however I find myself having to really avoid touching it after reaching my desired air pressure so that I don't change up the pressure on accident. The blue adjusting component WILL FALL OFF and if you lose it... Good luck adjusting your air pressure. RECOMMENDATION: PLEASE ADD A WAY TO LOCK THE AIR PRESSURE IN PLACE ... show more

  • Best air gun I've ever used
I have several of these and they're the best air gun I've ever used. I also have the more expensive "windstorm" version, but like this one much better. The windstorm is well built, but it is much larger and is ridiculously loud. My one complaint is that the first one I bought years ago had the plastic nozzle. They now come with a metal nozzle and you have to buy the "nozzle set" to get the plastic one. Although the metal is obviously stronger, we are frequently blowing things that we really don't want to risk scratching and the plastic nozzle adds a bit of safety in case you accidentally hit the part. Regardless of plastic or metal tip, it is a non-vented tip which is awesome. The "safety" vents tend to make air guns stupid loud and also prevent a nice focused stream when you need it. The adjustable flow is an excellent feature. The trigger is also outstanding and allows infinitely variable flow. I highly recommend this gun and it's worth the price. Most lower cost guns have a terrible trigger that allows little or no control in how much air you blow. ... show more
