Hard to find size, nice heft, very durable

I was looking for exactly this size pan to make a recipe. The directions clearly specified that this was vital. I’m usually an experimental baker but because a number of recipes I’ve found lately specify that they’re made for a 7 inch pan, I figured I might as well invest in one and snapped this up. This size is not all that easy to find. It’s solid and not flimsy, very durable and easy to clean.

Item arrived not quite as described. But it's better!

It's nearly impossible to find a 7" x 7" baking pan in America. Here in LA we have one of the best chef's stores ever to be found called Surfa's. Even there, they do not stock - or have access to - a 7x7" baking pan. This one is VERY substantial. Professional-grade heft. The only issue is that it has a removable bottom. The sides are so high that I doubt that you would be able get whatever you baked out of the pan without a removable bottom but I find it odd that NOWHERE in the description above is there any mention of a removable bottom. You certainly can't see it in the photo. 5-stars anyway. This is the 7x7" baking pan (that you need so you can make all Mary Berry's recipes in her "Baking Bible") that you have been looking for all your baking career.

The Perfect One Layer Cake

I love the size and that is the main reason I bought it. I can make an entire cake recipe in this pan and it will fit my canke stand. Easy to clean and it cooks evenly.
