Great quality!

  • So far it's working great
Style: Dual Piston with Tank
I got the large 2 piston model of this. Probably a bit over kill for a single brush but not many reviews on this model so I will add mine. The noise is not too bad, it takes less than a minute to fill up and holds the pressure just fine. I was worried that it would leak since it didn't come with teflon tape but maybe they used something else on the threads because I don't notice any leakage. I don't know if the two pistons make this fill up any quicker, mine says it has 1/4 HPs. It kicks in a bit more frequently than I hoped with the 3L air tank, at the normal setting (1bar) and at 35 psi it kicks in like every 20 seconds or so? but it fills back up much quicker than during start up. Like 10 seconds or so. The noise is not bad thought. Over all I'm really happy with my little compressor. Super easy to use, gets the job done and it's now too loud. If anything happens I will update my review. ... show more

  • Fast tank fill, no operating issues, good compressor!
Style: Dual Piston with Tank
Great compressor, I can airbrush for hours and it keeps a constant regulated supply. Gets a bit hot, but not alarming. The hose it came with isn't great, had to replace it because the end that attaches to the airbrush had a weak crimp causing an air leak. Overall it's not as noisy as some compressors I've used before, but it still makes a decent ammount of noise. The tank helps keep the runtime low and it fils up fast, but any more than 20 seconds of use and the compressor kicks back on to fill the tank. ... show more

  • Master Airbrush Model TC-828
Style: Dual Piston with Tank
As yet I don't know much about the Master Airbrush Model TC-828, other than is is not very noisy, as I have only been able to turn it on and squeeze the hose to make it fill and then turn back on. The reason for this is the hose that came with the compressor fits the compressor but the other end of the hose is too big for any of the airbrushes I have found which are the Paasche Talon, Neo for Iwata, Thayer & Chandler T89 Omni 4000 Airbrush and a cheap Chinese knock off. To me this is very unsatisfactory. I have gone to some hardware stores and have not found any that had adapters that would work as the threads are not standard for the USA. I think they are 1/4 inch British Standard Pipe (BSP threads. I tried 1/4 inch National Pipe Threads (NPT) and they do not work. They will start but don't line up well enough to seal. There is no indication in the description of needing to buy an adapter. TCP Global Corp is the selling company and it seems they sale the adapters but the shipping cost more than the adapters. I will update this review when I find a way to use the compressor and or have more to say. Bottom line if you buy this compressor make sure you buy an airbrush hose. Here's an update and it is why I dropped the rating down to 1 star... I sent a message to TCP Global via Amazon and here is my message... To Whom it may concern: I have written a review giving the Master Airbrush Model TC-828 a rating of 2 stars and consider it defective even though it appears to work. I say it is defective because the connector on the hose will connect to the compressor but will not fit any airbrush. There are no adapters available in my area. I do not feel it is proper for you to sale an item made for airbrushes that will not be able to connect to them. Your description does not say anything about needing adapters or what kind of fittings the hose has. I have since learned that you sale an adapter set, but I don't believe you should sell the compressor and then expect your customer to later buy an adapter they don't even know they need at the time of purchase. Here is the response... Hello, The manufacturers that sell airbrushes that'll hookup directly to our airbrush air hose are the following: Master, Devilbiss, Iwata and Harder & Steenbeck. The manufactures that make airbrushes with smaller fittings that don't hookup directly to our airbrush hose are Badger, Paasche, Thayer & Chandler, Testors and Aztek. Our main sale is the compressor and we're throwing in the airbrush hose for free. Usually we have customers contact us for further information and details. TCP Global Amazon Sales 58 My latest response... Hi, So you are saying that you are giving a free hose that will not work between the compressor and any airbrush and that the hose being useless is ok with you since the hose is free? I believe I am doing what your customers usually do and contacting you. So far a dissatisfied customer Well here is another update.... Hello, Were not just offering a free air hose for no reason because there are airbrushes that will hookup to it. The brand of compressor we're advertising is a Master, and with the being stated on the listing, the free air hose supplied will fit a Master brand airbrush. However, as we previously stated it will also fit an Iwata, Devilbiss and Harder & Steenbeck airbrush because the fittings on the ends of those airbrushes are the same as the supplied hose. We're more than willing to send you an adapter to accommodate one of your airbrushes, just let us know which brand you have. TCP Global Amazon Sales 58 My reply... Hi, I hate to be the one to tell you this but the hose you sent me will not connect the compressor to an Iwata or a Master airbrush. It will connect to either the compressor or an Master/Iwata airbrush but not both as the ends are different. The hose has one connector that is 1/8 which will fit the compressor or the Master/Iwata airbrush. The other end of the hose will not fit the compressor or the Master or the Iwata airbrush as it is too large to fit either. The hose has one connector that looks like a 1/4 which is way too big to fit either the compressor or an airbrush the other end looks like a 1/8 and will fit either the compressor or an Master/Iwata airbrush. I want to connect a Neo for Iwata which is the same as an Iwata and a Chinese no brand name airbrush that is a copy of an Iwata. The problems with adapters is they leak unless you seal them with something which I don't have. The best answer would be a hose that has the 1/8 connector on both ends. That is the kind of hose that should be provided with the compressor. So far a dissatisfied customer Don Coplin Their reply.... Hello, We sincerely apologize, but the hose we supply with the compressor is the wrong version. We depict the correct hose, but our parts breakdown has the wrong type of hose bundled with the compressor. It should actually be a 1/8"-1/8" hose, not a 1/8"-1/4" hose. We have corrected the part number in our system and we have also updated the listing. Would you like for us to send you the correct hose? Thank you for bring this issue to our attention. TCP Global Amazon Sales 58 I replied that I would like them to send me the proper hose. When I get it I will once again update this review and maybe then I can add some more pertinent information about the compressor it's self and maybe change their rating. Time for another update... I got the new hose and tried the compressor. It works quite well but the adjustment for the air regulator is not as accurate as I would like but I can live with it. Just wish the gauge was marked so it was easier to read and showed one mark for each psi. I have updated the rating to only 4 stars because the problem was fixed even though it should not have happen in the first place. ... show more

  • Great little airbrush compressor
Style: Dual Piston with Tank
This compressor does exactly what I need it to do. Maintains a constant working pressure of 30-35psi, quiet enough that it's not distracting. I previously tried a single cylinder compressor without the auxiliary tank from another brand, based on its reviews. I sent 2 of those back because they wouldn't maintain working pressure and decided to try this one. This compressor is well worth its price and I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Problems from the Beginning - Unresponsive Customer Support
Style: Dual Piston with Tank
UPDATE: IT GETS WORSE BUYER BEWARE! I was eventually sent a replacement compressor and within 2 months the replacement was having the same issue as the first compressor (air intake valve leaking). I contacted customer support who said that I'd have to send both compressors back for repair, but they'd provide a shipping label. Over a month went by and I never received a label (checked every folder in my inbox). I tried following up with them to see what was going on, but never received a response. Absolutely zero accountability from the seller, TCP Global. I bought this compressor for airbrushing miniatures and it performed well for about a month. Then I noticed rust building up in the moisture trap despite draining the air each night. I also live in Utah, one of the driest states in the country, there shouldn't be rust anywhere after a month of limited use. I contacted customer support and they said it shouldn't affect the performance or be a safety hazard. So I unscrewed the moisture trap to wipe the rust out and no problems for a month. Now the air regulator has started leaking and that IS affecting the airbrushing performance. I've reached out to customer service again and am awaiting a response. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in the quality so far. ... show more

  • Perfect airbrush companion
Style: Dual Piston with Tank
It’s runs much quieter than I expected. It’s preset shutoff positions come in handy. It builds air pressure very quickly so it doesn’t stay on very long even during lengthy airbrushing sessions. The air push lock regulator on it works flawlessly. I’d recommend.
