I'm not a tattoo artist and only have two tattoos but I've always wanted to try my hand at it... This is a nice affordable kit with a little bit of everything you need to get started. The first package I received was not the cordless machine but one that required a foot pedal... The second package was the correct machine and had all the goodies. I like that it included fake skin to practice your skills and a little bit of everything you need to get started...

The reason this set is great for beginners is that it has everything needed to get started an incredible black ink that is ready for skin, material to practice on a quality one at that. But the main thing is sometimes its hard to figure out what voltage to shade or line at, and the tattoo pen itself shows on an led screen wether its set for liner or shader . I suggest this kit to anyone whose just starting out but is also great for veterans alike with its smooth lines and silent operation.

This tattoo set arrived quickly and well packaged. The set includes the cordless tattoo pen, 2 batteries, converter and cord to use as a rotary pen, box of cartridges, bottle of black ink, ink cups, grip tape, practice skins, stencil paper, premade stencils, gloves, skin safe marker, and a Mast silicone bracelet. The set tattoo pen is cordless but has the ability to be converted for those times where your batteries are dead. The pen itself feels great in my hand and my fiancée who has smaller hands said she liked the shape and weight of this one more than some others I’ve gotten. This pen offers more fluid features than some of the others I’ve tried and I greatly appreciate the sensitivity and ease of adjusting needle depth and the adjustable voltage using the +/- buttons on the top of the pen. The display clearly shows the battery life, voltage, and a timer so you can track how long it’s been running. The battery life is consistent with other similar pens but with the extra battery and the converter option, you will never be without. I appreciate how quiet this is and how it glides like butter across real skin. This pen is a great investment for new and established artists alike. The price point is great for the quality and features offered as well as the various bonus items included in the set. Overall, if your in the market for a tattoo machine then this is a great contender that offers both cordless and wired capabilities and the quality and features will not disappoint you.
