This is all you need to get going on becoming an artist. I imagine that pretty soon tattoo will all be done by computer systems at a kiosk or something. The way you grip the pen changes with this system. It has become drawing with a gigantic tube instead of a pen sized device. The quality and technology is great with the a little.to adjust depth and wireless / RCA power options. Perfect training for newbies.

A very impressive kit from Mast, built around the Flip 2 tattoo pen. The Flip 2 is wonderful to handle, with very thick, parallel proportions, and it's also incredibly smooth and quiet. With an integral battery, this has a power range from 5v-12v, and is adjustable in increments of 1/10th. On top of the battery range, the stroke is highly adjustable, from 2.4-4.4mm. Amazing! The top of the batter has a a great LED digital readout. It's both bright and clear, and easy to read as you're working. The grip is nice and fat, and is simple to make really thick. Just a bit of paper towel and some grip tape and you're on your way to a custom, fat grip. It's so simple to switch from integral battery pack to A/C power supply. Simply unscrew the top section and screw the desired one (A/C or integral battery) on. Takes seconds. Great feature. The kit includes: A set of 20 excellent tattoo cartridges, with 10 being liners (1205Rl), and 10 being shaders (1207RS). There is also a generous sized black ink, a single set of black latex exam gloves, a power adapter cable (for A/C), a charger cable (USB-C), a single roll of wide grip tape, a wrist band that says, "Mast", a single sheet of tattoo design transfer paper, a single sheet of 6x8" practice skin, and a set of 3 or 4 really nice decals. Fantastic kit, built around a really great pen. This pen is comparable in performance to those costing hundreds more. I'm a real fan.

I don’t know why already having issues after week I go to tattoo and keep saying error and turns off. No kind of support or replacement parts

Comes with everything you could want to get started except for the green soap and antiperspirant. Honestly such a fun little machine, I really enjoy it. Feels good in my hand and the counterweight for it is nice as well. No issues so far, so overall I'm happy with it

The Mast Flip2 is one of the most versatile pens I’ve ever used. The body is made of first-rate material and the finish and fit are outstanding. The body is thick which works for people that are looking for a thicker grip. The most amazing feature of this pen is the ability to adjust among 7 different strokes lengths: 2.4mm, 2.7mm, 3.0mm, 3.3mm, 3.6mm, 3.9mm, 4.2mm. In case you’re unfamiliar, long stroke lengths of 4.0mm+ are typically only used for lining, as they pack in ink with hard-hitting strokes. Long strokes pull the boldest lines in a single pass. Medium stroke lengths of 3.5mm can perform a little bit of everything. It’s most commonly used for color packing and shading. And short stroke lengths of 1.8mm-2.5mm are perfect for soft shading and blending work. Tattoo artists who specialize in hyperrealism and black & grey count on soft stroke lengths a lot to get those smooth, seamless blends. The pen is not the quietest pen I’ve used. produces a high-pitched whine which is a little annoying to me. The vibration, however, is very smooth even at higher voltage settings. The low vibration makes it comfortable to hold for long sessions. I also like that you receive other much needed accessories like ink, ink caps, grip tape, and cartridges so you can get started right away. a friend and I have both bought starter machines to learn tattooing with. this machine is well built and feels like quality. the instructions are easy to understand. however, with the battery pack on, this thing is very top-heavy and unwieldy. it gives my hand cramps after a couple of minutes of use. I swapped machines with my friend this week and he confirmed the same thing, his only complaint about this machine is that it was way heavier than his and that it's too thick and chunky. there is no taper to this at all and it makes the gripping position awkward. Learning to tattoo using this feels like what I imagine Piccolo felt like training with weighted gear. once you learn on this thing everything else should feel easy as heck.
