I was having issues using my Meta Quest 2 with AirLink as my computer isn't wired in. The simple solution was to get a cable for the headset. The official Meta cable is exorbitantly priced, so I bought this one. It works perfectly. It seems really sturdy and is very long. Just what I needed.

The build quality is exceptional for the price and I’m very happy with the overall look, feel, and fit. The only issue is the data transfer speeds measured by the oculus application on my pc. With the cable plugged into my quest 3 and the “vr ready” usb 3.0 port on my motherboard the oculus application only reads 336Mbps and gives a warning saying that it is a usb2.0 connection. Despite this, the cable performs perfectly fine and I’m still able to run native resolution at 90hz. As for the charging that everyone complains about, that’s not the cables fault. Power delivery is up to your motherboard and it’s not within spec to supply as much power as this headset is going to draw. Be happy it’s still using up battery, otherwise your motherboard would blow up. ... show more

Connected right to my computer, synced with Oculus app on PC, then was able to rock. Only a couple of issues to consider: This does not charge the headset when playing, so take that into consideration. This has to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port or you won’t receive the full functionality.

I was not sure if this would work for my Quest 3 but it does. I have not had any issues with it so far and the cable seems to be plenty durable. It snaps into the USB-C port on the headset tightly and doesn't wiggle around. There is also a Velcro strap to hold the cable to the headset. It will only let you position the cable running towards the back of the headset but that is how most are and how I prefer, even with the PC in front of me. If the cable runs forward, your arms would be hitting it. This is plenty long to go behind you and stay out of the way. As far as charging goes, it does not charge the headset while playing, but it does prevent the headset from quickly draining. I do not think even the official cable will charge the Quest 3 while playing. I would guess you would be able to play for 6 to 8 hours before the headset would go dead (the Quest 3 only lasts about an hour and a half on battery alone), so it is not an issue. When the headset is not being used, it will charge back up. Overall, worth the money over the official cable and it matches the Quest 3 color. ... show more
