got the gun in and the first thing I noticed was the items inside the box were not as they had been from the factory. Once I powered it up I realized that the display doesn't work. I put a needle in and it wouldnt adjust down. The needle tips stayed about 1/4" out regardless. My suggestion is dont waste your time or money. ... show more

I learned on the butterfly style tattoo guns not these, didn't even know these existed until recently. From what the other reviews ratings say I will adjust myne "slightly" to match, it has a lot of great qualities!! But for me personally I find it to awkward to tattoo with.. it's wider than butterfly machines so the grip feel is way different and I can't seem to properly use it because of that... other people seem to feel the opposite tho so I guess it comes down to your personal preference. It charges quickly and lasts for a long time. Has less vibration and sound compared to butterfly machines. (I kinda miss the sound tho and used it in combination with voltage to check how much force the needle had).. Changing needles is faster and easier. Cordless wich is really nice! It seems better in virtually every way!! But unfortunately I think I'm to set in my ways with the hand feeling of a butterfly machine to feel comfortable using this to tattoo tho,. I need to feel comfortable (especially my hands) in order to tattoo, so this is basically a complete bust with me... Considering all the good things about it I planned on giving it 3 stars anyways and complaining about how it felt... because of the other reviews and talking with a couple people I know who've used this style it seems like something a lot of people prefer tho, so I'll give it 4 stars,. If you enjoy this style of tattoo gun then I would highly recommend it!! If you've never used one before I'd suggest buying one of the really cheap ones first just to see if you feel comfortable with them before spending this much on something you may not be able to use tho... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried many different machines now. This only comes with the pen, but fortunately I’ve built up quite a supply of consumables, so lack of accessories isn’t an issue. I’d suggest waiting on this machine until you’ve reached an intermediate level and are ready to work with real skin. The on/off, depth adjustments, and speed fine-tuning were fairly easy and self-explanatory. The gun is more involved than others I’ve had, with more adjustment features for different usage modes and has a very sensitive adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're still trying to master how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins and intermittently shading in some decades-old scars from an old accident to try it out on actual skin. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over a keloid scar. Overall, this is a very user-friendly machine for someone in the intermediate phases of learning tattooing and is an excellent value for the cost. ... show more

The normal blue or black tattoo sleeves that I'm used to won't even fit on the machine because of the circular new feature that sticks out. And also I paid cash for it and Amazon I guess decided to give me store credit when I thought it was going to be on my debit card as a return. They have done this with multiple products of mine that I have paid cash for. I don't understand why my money is not going back to my account. ... show more
