The reason to purchase a makeup mirror is for the illumination, the brightness the ability to see yourself better. Forget this mirror, my room lighting does better on its own. I only increase to a 2 star because it looks lovely and the size is good. But the reason, lighting is awful. It is just a mood light for your room. I wish I did not purchase this item I return to add this note and increase my rating because the company was excellent to deal with my disappointment and offered a refund. That is a plus when the company cares enough to make it right.

This is a review for "STAISE Hollywood Vanity Mirror with Lights, 17" L x 13" W LED Lighted Makeup Mirror, Dimmable & Three Color Lighting Modes, 10X Magnification Mirror, CRI>95% HD, 20W High Brightness (96 LED)" This mirror looks exactly like the seller's product photos. The size description is accurate. What comes out of the box is just was I was expecting when ordering. The mirror is well packed in custom molded styrofoam, with the base requiring slightl assembly before use. It is easy to do- remive the two screws from the bottom of the support arms, align the base and replace the screws. I did find that I needed to use my own screwdriver in order to properly tighten the screws. The packaging includes a tiny screwdriver, but I was not able to apply enough torque to turn the screws- they fit snugly in place. But using my own regular-sized screwdriver made the task very easy. The mirror has great clarity. I like that there is a small magnifier mirror with suction cups that can be stored in the back, or attached to the front of the mirror. Something to be aware of is that the cord doesn't include standard outlet prongs, but instead ends in a usb plug. I simply located a spare "wart" in my box of miscelaneous cables and warts, and it functions perfectly. I really like that there are 3 different color settings, and the brightness is easily adjusted to be dimmer or brighter. This mirror looks very nice sitting on my vanity. The light is helpful for applying makeup. It is very nice quality, seems like it is going to be durable, and just simply well designed.

I purchased this makeup mirror to replace one that I have had for several years. I like the size of the mirror, as well as the three lighting options. My only disappointment is with the small magnifying mirror that attaches to the larger mirror with suction cups. I wish that the magnification were stronger -- perhaps a 10x. Because the magnification is not strong enough, I am using a separate, handheld magnifying mirror.

Super cute mirror! I think it is the perfect size for a vanity desk set up. There are really nice color temperature options, as well as brightness levels. I think it is nice quality and a good value for the money.

This mirror is very substantial in size for a vanity mirror so first make sure you have room for it. It has a metal frame and a metal base that will require some assembly. It comes with the screws and a small screwdriver so you don’t have to hunt one down. The base is foam padded so it won’t scratch your furniture and I think that’s quite nice. The frame is all metal and that helps make the mirror a sturdy piece. It’s rechargeable so you won’t have to worry about an outlet. There are three buttons at the bottom for power, adjusting brightness and lighting mode (cool or warm). It comes with a polishing cloth and a small magnifying mirror that has suction cups on the back. You can stick on a smooth surface or put it into the recesses area on the back of the mirror to use or to store. I found this awkward and the magnification not enough for me. The quality wasn’t too great either. I will store it in the back and probably only use it occasionally. I really like the portability this mirror provides me. I can use it anywhere and never worry about the power. I have fully charged it and have used it for about a week with no lighting problems at all. It’s a very nice modern design that is very simplistic and clean. I believe it will work well with most decor. If you’re looking for a gift for someone that has moved to a new place, this just might be perfect!
