Assembly was fairly easy. I rolled the box inside and put it together all by myself. It comes with all the tools. Arm cushions were very easy to zip onto frame. Be careful not to sit down and rock way back or you'll flip outšŸ™ƒ backwards. The first time was an accident. The following four was me making my husband laughā˜ŗļø I really love this chair. The recliner looked perfect and was pretty easy to put together. We needed a taller back and finally found one 29in. But totally forgot to take into consideration the other measurements.     • More than a chair!
I researched recliner chairs until I was dizzy, Iā€™m not used to buying furniture without testing it out myself. In these times, it seems the norm. I received this chair three days ago and Iā€™ve been on it ever since. I must say that I was intrepid about how difficult it would be to adjust, whether opening, closing the foot rest or to recline, as I have spinal issues but I was incredibly surprised as all functions work well and with ease. Iā€™m a small framed person and this chair allows me to totally curl up in the seat with pillows and blanket, if needed. I like the fact that I only have to lean back to make it recline and it snaps back as I sit forward. I use another back pillow as I need extra back support nand this chair has room enough for me to prop anything Iā€™d like to. Iā€™m so happy and comfortable in this chair, I donā€™t know why it took me so long to get one. ... show more

When I first got the chair, I assembled and the electric function did not work. I contacted the manufacturer, they thought it might be the remote so they sent me out another. When this did not work they offered me a refund or another chair, I opted for another chair- assembled it and it works. I believe the issue was internal to the chair. Customer service was great- they were prompt with their responses and actions- I did not have to return the defective chair. Pros: great customer service, fairly inexpensive chair, good material fairly easy to assemble( but harder than other reviews make it seem), good massage. Cons: i am a fairly big guy, 6 ft, 270lbs and I worry about how it will hold up to me, I have never had a swivel, and I don't like it. The worst thing about the chair is I have had it for weeks and only once was I able to retract the foot rest without first getting out if it and pushing the foot rest in from the standing position. Would I buy the chair again? No. But great customer service. ... show more

Negatives: 1) the seat cushion is quite hard to sit on (fixed with a foam pad cushion) 2) the fabric has an overwhelming chemical smell that took quite some time to air out. 3) The heat option hasn't worked very well. It warms up but just barely enough to notice it. The positives still outweigh those issues, though. 1) Very easy to assemble. 2) Pretty sturdy overall. 3) Overall, it is not super heavy. One person can easily move it. 4) It is easy to clean (we have a pug and 2 cats). 5) The size is perfect for our odd shaped living room 6) Material is decent quality. So far (fingers crossed), it seems to be withstanding the daily use from high energy teenagers, an excited pug, & exhausted parents ... show more
