i am an 85 year old woman and i was able to assemble this chair by myself it took a long time but i can only do a little at a time. the only thing is that it does not massage it just vibrates

I love the heat and massage remote. Do not like that it does not have remote for lifting or letting feet down. This is not a lift chair.

My dad has been having back issues and trouble getting up and out of recliners seats etc. ( 68 soon to be 69) (also weighs 288 pounds). He is on a fixed income and needed something. We found this chair and after comparing it to others, the value is 5 star. Positives about this chair: 1. powerful motor for massage and lifting 2. powerful heat mode - exactly where it needs to be 3. full assist in getting up and getting down 4. removable covers for easy clean 5. easy and simple assembly - less than 20 minutes. Negatives: 1. could come with better wiring 2. could be more cushioned 3. lift is slow but powerful (trade off, you need to decide whats important) 4. arm rest and backs don't fasten, they just sit there (keep in mind, its sturdy but worth mentioning). Overall for $300, you get a new chair and don't have to pay expensive prices for additional luxury items. P.S., Shipping was quicker than quoted, received within 4 days vice the 10 quoted. ... show more

Bought this chair for my new home, the cushion is amazingly soft and provides enough support to the back. The surface material could be easily cleaned with a damp towel. A great chair to sit in when watching TV.
