    • Outstanding task chair for periodic use
This chair is quite comfortable to sit in for short periods of time. The faux leather material is very soft and smooth with a subtle textured surface. The bottom cushion is soft but supportive, so that it gives a little without sinking in. It feels like the back portion of cushion envelops your rear while the front portion supports your legs. The backrest and arm rests are both firm enough to provide support when you want to lean back and/or grip the sides. The height adjustment is responsive and easy to use. The 5-leg base is a single piece of metal, which is sturdy and instills confidence. Plus the matte finish on the base feels great. The wheels all rotate smoothly and behave as expected. One of the appeals of this chair is how simple yet elegant it looks. The angle of the base legs are quite high and the legs are thicker at the base and become thinner as they approach the casters. It’s very subtle, but the detail adds to the overall aesthetics. The chair looks round, soft, and inviting, especially with the arms flared outwards. The brown color also matches well to many settings and many desk colors. If you need to sit on a chair for hours or need constant support for your arms as you type on a keyboard, then you might want to consider a different chair with a more ergonomic design. This chair is comfortable in short stints as the material is not as breathable, there is no dedicated lumbar support, the armrests are not at an ideal height, and the backrest is angled slightly backwards. But if you sit at your desk for brief periods of time or if you typically sit to have a conversation with someone, then this chair is perfect. What a really nice, modern-looking saddle brown faux leather chair. It looks good at a desk or not. It assembles easily, it took me about 10-15 minutes to put this chair together. I suppose the name Martha Stewart helps from a marketing perspective. It sits comfortably for about a few hours. However, it is not a chair you would sit in for 8 hours. super nice chair- looks really expensive and the leather is very smooth. I will say though, that it isnt the most comfortable and plush chair. Its pretty hard, but if youre not sitting for long periods of time, then this is a good chair for you. The main draw for me was how modern it looked in the photos, and it does in fact look just as sleek in person. The trouble is the arms are thin and don't offer much padding, so typing for long periods get to be painful. There's average support in the chair, but I think I compromised on comfort for style. I was looking for a desk chair for a desk in a small spare bedroom, and this desk chair works perfectly for that purpose. The chair is a little on the smaller size as far as desk chairs go, with the usable seat area being 13" across the back x 16.5" across the front, and 16.5" deep. The padding isn't very thick, so if you want to spend an extended period of time sitting on this chair, you might want a chair cushion to cushion the seat a little better. The seam that's down the back of the chair appears to contain a zipper that I'm guessing was used in the construction of the chair to put the cover on it. This isn't perfectly straight, as can be seen in my photo. Otherwise, this chair was easy to assemble, looks good overall, and will work at the desk in my spare bedroom. ... show more

Beautifully designed desk chair. Chair came well packaged, protected and only 4 screws needed to assemble. Looks really nice and has a nice lumbar support with comfort flared arms for arm rests. It easily glides over carpet and I can adjust the height easily. The only con on this chair is that it seems to be on the smaller side, I am a size 14/16 and I barely fit my behind (I fit, but it is conforming for a chair) in this chair and the overall size seems made more for a Teen or smaller person.
