I was initially not looking forward to assembling this platform bed frame, I was sure it was going to be "ikea-levels" of convoluted design ideas wrapped in an assembled product that was going to fall short of it's claims. Well, I was Wrong, It is actually pretty smartly designed and dead easy to build! once assembled, you have a really strong platform for your mattress, and the plus is that it is quite lightweight.The max weight capacity for this particular frame is 500 lbs, I believe that this would have no problem taking that weight. One of the biggest pluses I like is how much storage I have under my bed now, you can place large plastic totes under this frame with ease. I love the easy way to assemble this bed frame. Within 10 minutes, the bed was completed, and it was very sturdy! I was hesitant about the weight it holds (500 lbs) because the frame doesn't look that powerful. It seems firm, but not for having 500 lbs. Well, let me tell you, I weigh 250, and my little girl is 75. We got together in bed to try it, and it held perfectly still without any shakiness at all on the first try. Now, I'm so confident in this bed, I sometimes sleep with my daughter when she's having nightmares, and we don't have any problems. This bed frame is a Godsend!! ... show more

This was easy to put together but probably only bc I used my electric screwdriver, not that tiny little allen key everything comes with nowadays. I also have a queen frame very similar to this so am familiar with how they are set up. The mattress doesn't slide all over and now I have so much extra space underneath that I put the totes with extra blankets under there and my totes of seasonal clothes. ... show more
