I had one before and lasted me 5 years. I had to replace it because I couldn't communicate with customer service, Sent multiple emails, tried to call, nothing!! So I figured I'll have another one and replace it in a diferent way in 5 years. It's not even 8 months and it's already broken and of course I can't talk to anyone again, stay miles away from that company they are good while they work but there is no way to repair them and sorry but 8 months is unacceptable for a water heater!! ... show more

Price is right! Powered by 2 D batteries!!! Off grid! No need for 110v external power! I need this ESPECIALLY when the power goes out. Most other brands require external power to run the “brains”. I do not want bells and whistles. No pilot light to waste gas and blow out in high winds. The only downside is temperature balance regulation. It took me weeks to get it just right so the lower water flow shuts off the flame. Installation instructions very lacking. If you are going to tackle this yourself you must have skills.     • Temp control is extremely difficult to adjust
Very frustrating water temp on Winter setting is scalding hot and if you try to adjust temp in the shower it just shuts of the unit and you have no hot water. In order for me to get hot water in my bathroom sink I have to turn on both faucets. I keep adjusting and trying different settings, but not having any luck. This is not our first Marey hot water on demand, but the others we were able to get to function adequately. But not this one! NOT a Happy customer :( ... show more

This thing is bigger then I expected. For some reason it will not run when the water pressure is turned up to high. My water pressure coming from tanks are running at 40 psi which should be enough pressure. I just let it at pressure lower and works great. Summer switch gets the water warm but if you want it to burn your skin then turn it to winter mode. The pex pieces they provide is only for a water hose. You will need to buy your own pex connectors for normal water lines. ... show more

We are on water heater number 3 that still doesn’t work. Absolutely no support from Marey. The only support for this junk product came from Amazon exchange policy. Don’t waste your money on this junk water heater and terrible customer service.
