Marcy Adhesives Made in the USA This Universal 2 Part Quick Cure Clear Gel Kit is designed to Replace the Sensor Pad/Lens (Clear Lens) Located between the Sensor and Windshield Glass. Gel Lens is Required for Proper Rain Sensor Function The Gel Lens Functions as the needed Lens between the Rain Sensor and the Windshield. (This Product is the Lens Kit Only and is not the Rain Sensor) Buyers Note: This product IS NOT designed to attached the Pre-mounted Bracket to the Windshield. If bracket and sensor has fallen away from the windshield we highly recommend seeing a local Auto Glass Company to have the bracket 1st remounted Prior to Using this Product. If your Windshield has been replaced and the Lens Pad between the Sensor and Windshield was not replaced then rain sensor will not function or will not function properly. We recommend this be checked 1st, if there is an issue with function of your rain sensor as this would be a inexpensive option to replacing the entire Rain Sensor. The rain sense wipers never worked well in my new-to-me 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I removed the sensor and cleaned it and the glass (there was no existing gel) but nothing seemed to work. After doing some research I found that my windshield had been previously replaced and the installer never reapplied the factory gel, they simply clipped the sensor back in place. In only 10 minutes I was able to apply the gel, let it cure and reinstall the sensor back in the car. Just make sure you apply firm pressure against the bottom of the sensor, evenly at all points to ensure there are no air pockets.     • Easy fix.
After my windshield was replaced the automatic wipers no longer worked correctly (would only turn on in heavy downpours). Looking from the outside you could see air bubbles where the rear view mirror mounts. This was a super simple fix and worked great for my Audi. Total process took 20 minutes.

I decided to put my sensor on top of a heating pad to quicken the curing process. I didn't get enough in the 1st time so I just put more in. It works great!

Did what I needed it to do. The window company that replaced my windshield did not redue the rain sensor so it didn't work. Very easy to use and now my rain detection works great.

Have had to use this product on my rain sensor a few times as I have had my windshield replaced. My only tip would be to over full it to make sure you get enough in there, but as long as it is above the plastic it make a great connection with the glass.

Followed the instructions to the letter and it worked perfectly. I’m left with 2/3rds of the material if I ever had another need, but it only came with one tip.
