The HubX is just like the base Hub, but with a USB port for charging a device and a belt clip for even more mobility. We know that crafting and hobby work is all about the finer details, so we developed an entire tool collection that’s ergonomically designed to be easy to grip and easy to maneuver. And the best way to make a tool lighter, and nimbler, is to take off the battery. So we did. As a result, MAKERX tools are slimmer and more compact than similar tools already out there. And the HubX powers them all with just one 20V Power Share battery (not included). Batteries are expensive, so you’ll save a lot by powering every tool in the collection with just one. And we didn’t want the HubX to get in your way. It’s meant to keep a little distance from the project, and its long, 4-foot flexible cord gives you the room to move any which way you please. The HubX powers the MAKERX Rotary Tool, Angle Grinder, Mini Heat Gun, Air Brush, and the Wood & Metal Crafter. And it uses the popular, high-tech, 20V Max Lithium-ion rechargeable Power Share line of batteries to do so.
