They were not sharp when I got them, got a stone to sharpen them but got dull real quick. And make sure you wash the knives right after you use them, they do stain. But otherwise not bad

This set seems like excellent quality at a better than average price. I liked that the wooden block comes really close to matching my kitchen cabinets. This seems more compact than my old set, taking up much less space with its smaller footprint. My only suggestion is that the bread knife should be longer for a better control when cutting large loaves of bread. Because of that, I saved the bread knife from my old set. This is a great set of knives. You are apprehensive when purchasing some things that are decently priced because you just don't know about quality but this set is by far exceeding my expectations! Well worth it and more! Just beware of your fingers!

I like the look, feel & function of these knives. I don’t like the position of the kitchen scissors in the block. It’s awkward and makes it difficult to get the steak knives bc the handle of the scissors is in the way.
