I'm a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot. Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage. When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had. One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. Can be washed in washer no problem.

Recently my husband and I purchased a patio home, we laid LVT Throughout our home and we had not plan to cover them with throws because the floor is beautiful but, it is on a slab and I enjoy walking in my bare feet and guess what I discovered it is too cold for that, so I decided to purchase a couple of area rugs I read reviews on several different sites and found the reviews on Maple rugs were good so I decided to purchase, I received them and I love these rugs. They stay where you lay them, they are beautiful and vibrant colors, they are not plush but they are well made. I started out purchasing three rugs and now I’ve purchased three more. I’ve received so many compliments, and they honestly make a room feel warm and inviting. We are still working on pulling the place together so I will try to show pics later once we are done. But we are very pleased with our choice and we will probably purchase two larger rugs for the couch and kitchen table area.

I have had this rug since sept. I bought it hoping it would be better than the one I had in the hallway by the front door. That one would always slide and edges roll. There were many good reviews and I am very happy with it. People always comment what a cute pattern it has. It is very short pile but not sparse. It is also very soft. It stays put and the edges don't roll. I have 2 cats that run, jump and play on it. The old rug would bunch and slide but this stays put. It stays flat when I vacuum it. I have not needed to wash it yet but have spot cleaned a couple spots with no problem. Since it is by the front door, it is walked on daily. When I need another rug, I will be purchasing this brand.

Fantastic non slip runner rug! Got it and put it down and minutes later a 110lb Alaskan malamute came around the corner at a run, he hit the edge coming around the corner and it didn’t move an inch! I had hip surgery a month ago and couldn’t have any rugs down for a while and this doesn’t move! Could have had this down from day one on crutches! It is thin and lovely, feels nice on bare feet and again, it doesn’t budge with a big dog at a full run coming around the corner and hitting the last foot en route to another room. Very happy with this. Bought a smaller size for another room and it will be here tomorrow and work very well. Highly recommend. 🥰

With the exception of being thinner than I expected, these rugs are really nice, especially for the price. The colors are true as seen online. I’ve been looking for a very long time to find the right colors to go in my kitchen and these work perfectly. I love the fact that they are washable.

This rug was way better than I expected! It's super lightweight so its easy to move around. The colors add a nice pop to my room while complimenting my furniture. EASY TO CLEAN. The only con to cleaning is hair sticks to it pretty well so I have to use a strong vacuum on it. But other than that it's great!

This pattern is beautiful in person. The colors are vibrant without being too bold and in your face. I ordered these for a our kitchen, dinning, laundry and entry way. They brought color to each area. The 4x6 entry way rug has gotten a beating being a high traffic area, so whenever I need to clean it, I throw it in the washer and line dry it. The dirt comes out and there are no stains. In addition to the 4x6 entryway rug, we also own two 2x3 for in front of the frig and stove, two 2x6 for in front of the kitchen sink and washer/dryer, a 7x10 for under the dinning room table and another 4x6 for the "dogs door" (the door the dogs use to go in and out). All the smaller mats have been washed in the washer and lined dry - no issues. The 7x10 has been shampooed with a Hoover Rug Carpet cleaner - with no issues. Still, very durable and pretty.
