Works well with little effort. Switches easily between in & out or up & down depending on how you are using it for your particular project. The handle is somewhat short but I had no issues because of it. It’s slow going but precise. In my case I was using it to lift 75 pound cement fence posts out of the ground. It lifted them slow and precisely with ease and no slipping what so ever when switching direction. The chain comes pre oiled and with heavy duty hooks. The hooks swivel 360 degrees and come with safety clips.

Great hoist! I used this hoist in conjunction with a chain fall to lift a dock weighing a couple thousand pounds. It performed flawlessly and was not affected by water, although I did oil the chain after use. It would easily lift a car engine

I bought this at my husband's instructions. He uses it he loves it. It takes the wheelchair lift off the back of the car so he can use the trailer hitch to attach other things. My wheelchair lift is very heavy. It can't be taken off any other way. This came in extremely handy. I'm new to needing the wheelchair so I wasn't sure what to expect. The price was good and it works wonderfully.
