MANSCAPED... Do you have a time machine? Because this Dome Shaver Plus sure seems like it was delivered fresh from 2085. I've never had a faster, smoother shave from an electric shaver. As someone with sensitive skin and coarse hair, I am extremely particular when it comes to grooming tools. The Dome Shaver Plus left zero nicks or bumps, and left me with a smooth, shiny dome in record time! Its ergonomic shape fits confidently in my hand. Plus, it's waterproof! I have mixed feelings about the Manscaped The Dome Shaver Plus. It arrived in a really nice box, and unboxing was a pleasure. I liked the look, that it recharged via USB C, and that there was a long neck with space to place my fingers directly on the back of the shaver blades for a better feel during the shaving. I also liked the magnetic binding and how easy it was to take the blades apart to clean between uses. All that is 5 stars. It is definitely a pleasant experience to use this. But... the shaver just doesn't get as close as the Freebird-type 5-blade shavers of which i have tried several replacement blades. Many of these other type blades (not all; some are like this one) get much closer and leave my head completely smooth with only a few passes. This one gets me there, sort of. It takes longer and still leaves a slight stubble that needs to be finished with a hand razor. Funny, I really wanted to like this more than the other type of shaver. It has so many positives that the other brands often lack. But ultimately, at least for my head, there are better options.

The gift box looks nice and feels high quality, but the shaver is disappointing. The packaging seemed well designed at first, but when I picked up the shaver, it didn’t feel premium at all. It doesn’t shave smoothly and needs several passes to get a clean cut. It’s also really loud when you use it. It seems like they focused more on the packaging and marketing than on making the shaver work well. The packaging raised my expectations, but the product didn’t meet them.

I've been wanting to try a dome specific shaver a while, so picked this up, when I saw it. Pros: Powerful Usb-C charging Easy to clean Magnetic Blade Cover Cons: Value. Has a premium price. Overall: I'm fully satisfied. Just seems a bit expensive.

First of all, this is overpriced - so keep looking. I have tried MANY head shavers, and there are a lot of other options that are much cheaper and work well. You could probably get 3 head shavers with more blades that come with spare blades ets for the price of one of these. SO, as far as comfort goes, this feels a bit harsh on the head. For some reason, these are all angled inwards quite a bit so that when they are in the neutral position, they are not placed in a way to conform to the head. It only conforms closer to the head as you press it against your head, but even then, it doesn't flex enough to conform to the flatter parts of the head. Additionally, the ergonomics of this aren't great. The way this is held makes it feel like the head is quite a ways from your grip, which makes it more difficult to control as you're reaching across your head. I'm right-handed, so when I reach to the left side, especially the back left side, it's harder to hold comfortably against my head and feels like it's digging into me too much.. So it's not comfortable on the head or to hold. I would prefer the body to be placed more centered with respect to the shaver head. I also think having more rotary blades would add to the comfort and perhaps to the effectiveness, but not if the extra one were just placed in the center.. More around the perimeter would be useful. The cutting effectiveness seems reasonable. I did have to move this around the back and side of my head more than I normally would just because I had to ensure that I was holding it as flat as possible against my head. In the end, it did a good job at cutting my hair very close to my head and creating a smooth feel. As far as features go.. Pros - USB Charging, Magnetic Blade Pad, and power/status indicator LEDs... Emptying the tray is easy with the magnetic pad. Battery life is fine, but charging with USB makes it easy to always have it charged. Cons - no minutes indicator (as is popular on many cheaper versions), no extra blade pads, only 4 shaver blades, poor flexibility, less than desirable ergonomics... While I will get some use out of this because it does cut, it won't be my go-to. Since it isn't that easy to use when reaching around my head, this won't be the one that I keep in my car for touch ups when driving to work.. Comparing this to other Chinese-made products, it's not special enough to warrant the high price tag. I do not recommend.

I am not bald (yet), however I got this for my pecs, this doesn't work too well for face etc because it is a curved design however for muscle chest or round body parts, this is perfect, It still doesn't beat traditional razor but for quick hair removal, this gets the job done. The box, the shaver, everything about it is premium feel, recommend it.
