  • Warehouse had a used one for 50% off. I NABBED It
This was out of my budget. I'm a retired photographer and sold off most all my photo gear. This is best suited for smooth movements of a video camera. At 400 it was to much for my needs. I wanted to roll my telescope in and out of the garage. Doesn't have to be smooth - just has to go over driveway seams and roll in the grass. Telescope (my little one is about 80lbs). NOT FUN To carry. MY BIG tripod (Celestron AVX mount) went in the cups perfectly. ROLLS smooth like a dream (but that's of no value to me). I wondered what the BLACK THINGS WERE on the wheels? I thought locks? NO- once I rolled it in the garage I knew right away. They move grit - pebbles, debries out of the way of the wheel! Kinda like sweeping the area it will roll over. So anyway - wasn't in my budget... but in the corner I saw "used from 205.00". Often amazon has a demo or one someone sent back after trial. at 200.00 off I had to bite. GLAD I DID. It came a couple hours ago and is amazing. I had a manrotto on my studio tripod for the past 30 years of my (portrait studio) and loved it but sold equipment in hunge bundles. I needed a better dolly for outside and THIS IS IT. It had no packaging. Looks SLIGHTLY used. (as if used in a showroom) What do I care it's not a show-car its a tool. The cuts pivot. My large metal tripod tips when in nicely. ONE problem - not mentioned. It was missing a LITTLE WING NUT off a bolt on one of the 3 cups). HEY that's ok, I can get one for .10 at the hardware store. I can do that to save 200.00 ! THANK YOU AMAZON. ... show more

  • Well made and sturdy
Very sturdy and well built as all Manfrotto equipment. Using it for smooth rolling video.

  • Nice Piece of Equipment
This tripod is S-O-L-I-D. It's heavy enough to roll over wires etc and not jump all over the place. I thought it was a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Oh, just so you know, it's also massive so be aware that this is one big dolly. Verdict - Good buy

  • Has the weight and stability needed.
This dolly has the weight and stability needed to support and transport my camera & tripod without having to carry. Also suitable for trucking/dolly moves over smooth services.

  • Works
Very well built, very sturdy. Have only used it in limited rolls, but so far it has worked flawlessly. Have a heavier shoot coming up and will update after that.
