Amazing! My yard looks like a golf course now! Best of all, I can watch on my iPad from the comfort of my own living room while it cuts! Coming from a rider, no more worries about storing gas, no more hot afternoons out cutting, and no more fretting about when to cut! I love the FPV mode most of all. Pros: Assembly is easy with no GPS tower! Pull it out of the box, remove the blade padding, connect the bumper and edge guards and place down the charging pad - I use a cane, bending is hard, but it took me maybe 30 minutes to complete with the hardest task being screwing down the charging station with four provided ground screws and an allen wrench. There's a network setting where there's no need for installing the tower (which it comes with, but no need). It's fast in comparison to their mini model (which I also have) with a 13.8" cutting width (adjustable down to 7.8) with speeds varying from 1 foot per second (FPS) to 3.3 FPS. It handles ditches and inclines with ease (have about a 80 degree inclined ditch and it goes up and down it without issue). Half an acre can be as short as about 2 hours or as much as 6 hours depending on your settings and cut type (lateral lines or crisscross lines). Battery recharges within about an hour and is much faster than the mini model's charge time. I'd left a portion of my yard uncut to test its cutting ability on tall grass (8-10" tall or so) and it did it without issue, but it will leave a trail of non-mulched grass behind. Blades are durable (I've not had to change them on a different model for almost a month now even after running over a stone flower circle I'd not told it to avoid) and cheap to replace as they're basically just little razor blades you can find for roughly $1 each (I bought a 30 pack for $29 here). Build quality seems quite good, and it has a surprising little feature to pull sticks off itself that I quite like (grooves in the tires grip them and it does a zigzag Z - works like 95% of the time on it's first try, but on the second no stick has stayed for me at least). Range is good depending on your wifi, and if it drops momentarily behind a bush or something it will keep working and reconnect. Cons: 0.75 Acre means that's the maximum square footage it can store - you only have so much square feet you can map to mow. There are some tricks you can do to reduce your overall square footage by making different cut areas around you house vice doing a circle around your property, but you only have .75 acres of square footage to map. There is no mulcher so if the grass is tall you will be left with grass cuttings littering your yard for a few weeks or need a rake (not an issue if you routinely run it, just noting that can happen with tall grass). The only way to charge it is the charging port - I wish there was a plug in or the ability to hot swap batteries for quicker mowing. The software works, but can be improved upon. On an iPad it doesn't automatically flip for instance, but it is being updated (literally received a firmware update between getting it and this review and an app update while writing it). The GPS is so accurate mapping can be a pain (don't know if that's a con or not), but one wrong swerve a few inches off and you need to redo that section driving the robot back over it - map editing is a pain as there's no adjusting the map in the software itself yet, so you must run the mower back over that section. A "power saver mode" would be nice to have, but it also isn't there yet. The safety feature for manual mowing means you need to be within 20 feet of the robot - would be nice to have that be a little farther as again doing that with a cane is tough. Bottom line: Buy it. You will not be disappointed with a well-cut yard without having to lift a finger after set up. Product works well and while there can be improvements specifically to the software, overall it's 5 stars.

I needed a mower for my new house. I looked at zero turns and riding mowers and the prices were crazy. I decided to see what a robot mower could do, for half the price. I also have respiratory issues and don't do well in the hot sun, so the Mammotion Luba 3 also protects my health by taking over a job that isn't healthy for me. That alone is a huge benefit so it was a no brainer to try a robot mower. This mower, Mammotion Luba 3, is my second robot mower purchase. The first one I bought, Anthbot Genie, was cheaper and only 2 wheel drive. Although it worked ok, it was very VERY slow, among other things. It only had one blade to cover just over 7 inches. I returned that one based on speed and battery life and the Mammotion Luba 3 is leaps and bounds better and well worth twice the price. Just a suggestion to any updates: I wish I could remotely control the Luba 3 it without using Bluetooth, because it would be great to use this as a property surveillance tool as I can watch the camera and check things when I'm away. I love that you can watch the mowing through the front camera. Very cool! I love how the RTK is not necessary, but an option and it comes with the hardware. I have had zero problems with the Luba 3 navigating without the RTK. I also appreciate the drop mow feature that allowed me to take the Luba 3 to my father's house, an hour away, and mow his lawn. I love it! I can't wait to see what Mammotion has next!

MRS purchased it as an early Father's Day gift for me and I have been very happy with it so far. Have used it roughly 10 times or so to cut multiple areas around our several acre property. Set up was very straight forward, and I'd suggest checking out some of the videos on Youtube to get a sense for what the app and programming are like. This has easily saved me 20+ hours of time already and it's wonderful being able to run it any time day or night. I have also noticed that the grass seems to appreciate being cut more frequently, as some of my dry patches are starting to fill in despite it being the hottest time of year in my area.

Another reviewer here stated that no go zones ARE a part of the .75 acre. The picture I am sharing is how I worked around that limitation. Instead of the rectangle I did my mapping around my no go zones. This allowed me to squeeze out more sqft out of my unit and cut other areas. By doing this I was able to get my complete property under .75 acre. With that aside. With one pass (tall fescue 3.5 inch cut)my cut quality is 80% of my zero turn. Doing it in checkerboard gets me to 90% cut quality of my zero turn which is good enough. I may end up selling my zero turn at the end of the season as I have stopped using it. I bought another Luba. Had the 2x before and now the 3. It’s sad that you can pair them up together and have them work on tandem. Have to map all over again and cut different zones so they don’t clash. Good unit
