Description

The MicroSport Off-Road Trailer is fully submersible and offers a unique black powder coat over a pre-galvanized steel frame creating one of the most rust- preventive coatings in the industry. Each kit is comprised of a sturdy reinforced steel tongue, a “plug-&-play” LED submersible lighting system that meets DOT standards, 78" steel load bars, and large oversized pontoon tires. The MicroSport Off-Road Trailer has a Load Capacity of 800 lb and can haul two 20' canoes or kayaks. This set comes with 2 Large Kayak Bunks. The 7' bunks fit nearly any kayak hull design. We recommend these for larger kayaks as they stabilize and hold larger boats better than traditional carriers while also easing the loading process. The trailer has a 30" ground to crossbar clearance and an adjustable 44"-63" crossbar spread. Capable of hauling multiple kayaks, canoes, and bikes for all your adventuring and recreational needs. Features 78" steel, 1 1/4" square load bars with d-ring tie-downs. Comes with instruction manual and registration documentation. With the use of common tools, assembly can be accomplished in around three to four hours. Backed by a Five-Year Limited Warranty and proudly crafted in the United States. A 2" Ball is required for vehicle attachment. Instructions lack clarity. One of the 10 wheel hub bolts was treaded improperly. This means the wheel nut will not go on without stipping the bolt threads.

    • Assembly is simple, good quality product
This Malone Microsport off-road trailer with spare tire and 2 Foldaway-J kayak carriers are very well constructed. Arrived at my home in 7 sturdy boxes total that took quite a beating but everything inside the boxes were intact due to the large amount of packaging material. Instructions to assemble were clear and concise and I assembled it at my leisure over a period of two afternoons. Looking forward to having more time on the water and less time loading and unloading kayaks into the back of a pickup or on top of my very tall SUV. The idea that it can be partially submersed for wet launch of kayaks is also a plus. While buying new is a little pricey I feel it’s worth the extra to get exactly what I wanted and to not inherit hidden issues that may come from buying a second hand trailer that might have been abused beforehand. There is plenty of room to add two more sets of j-hooks in the future and be able to carry 4 kayaks total. ... show more

Waiting on replacement parts because one of the wheel studs and u bolt for the springs had bad threads out of the box. Not cool spending 2k+ on a trailer and not being able to use it for a week after receiving. Need better QA!!!
