The look, feel, functions, accessories are great. The cage is solid with minimum movement. It feels sturdy, safe, and is a great addition to create a home gym. Another great point was the height of the cage that fits well in my basement. This is a great value purchase. The cage has been in use for 3 months, and I feel confident that it will be lasting for a while. It a great home equipment, of course it is still not totally comparable to a professional gym, but is perfect level of intensity and provide a great diversity of exercises. I have been shopping for a quality budget rack for a few months, but was hesitant to place an order because there was always some lacking feature in the models that I had been considering... until I came across the Drone 1. The Drone 1 by Major Fitness caught my eye when it launched, as it has a compact but sufficient footprint (I have a small garage space to put this in), can hold a substantial amount of weight, and has a cable pulley system. It seemed like the perfect design for my use case. I'm fine being an early adopter of products that have good product information, however there were already a few user reviews that demonstrated how stable and capable the rack is, so I was completely comfortable ordering. The package arrived quickly and well packaged, in 2 large boxes. I found the assembly was easy, it took me about 2.5 hours to put together myself. Most of the bolts and parts are all the same, so there's no confusion over trying to figure out which parts go where. Which is great! I recommend using a socket wrench, it'll make the assembly process a breeze. I was missing 2 pieces for the pulley system and contacted the manufacturer - they responded immediately and sent me replacements promptly. No problem, it happens. I was pleased that the Customer service support I received was top notch, which inspires confidence in my future purchases from this manufacturer. I have worked out with this unit for about 2 months now, and am VERY pleased with this purchase. The rack can handle all the weight I need it to (<500lbs), and is very stable. The included accessories are all good quality, especially at this price point, and really add a lot of functionality to the rack. Some users have complained about the feeling of the pulley system, but I have found it to be pretty smooth. Add some silicone lubricant (like silicone WD-40) to the steel poles, and I feel no friction at all when pulling on the cables. I am very happy with my decision to buy this product. It is a sturdy cage, and I think it is worth every dollar. Even better if you can get it on a deal. 5/5 stars all around, both for the product, and for the Manufacturer support. Great sturdy squat rack with tons of accessories! Took about 2 hours to put together with a buddy. Have an impact driver and socket chucks for this, it cuts down the time a ton. Everything works great and I'm very satisfied with it. I have a very short basement; my floor joists are at 83" from the floor. The rack fit, but the pull up bar had to be situated between the joists to fit. The pull up bars could be flipped upside down if that's not an option for you. I could not install the pull up bar stabilizing rods because of my floor joists running parallel to the pull up bars, but it still feels very stable. I won't be doing too many pullups because of my low ceilings and my dislike for concussions 👌🏻. Great rack, give it a try! Invest in your health! ... show more

The Major Fitness Drone 1 Power Cage is an overall wonderful purchase for any weightlifting enthusiast. I bought the machine back in February of 2025 and it has been used nearly everyday since and it is still holding strong as a healthy quality to price point option. It is a solid machine and I am quite happy with the size and quality of the machine. I am 6’6” and can easily fit within the machine without having to duck and I am not worried it's going to get knocked or pushed over as it weighs a little more than 200 pounds. Do be aware that it comes in in two separate boxes both of which weigh roughly 100 pounds. I am more than aware that there are better power cages on the market most notably from Rogue Fitness and Titan Fitness, both companies who consistently produce top of the line merchandise. However, their products are often beyond the price range of your average Joe, while the Major Fitness Drone 1 is affordable, offers a variety of functions, and can be upgraded over time. For one the versatility of the Drone 1 is fantastic as the built in cable system allows for an array of workouts, essentially making it one of the only big purchases needed for your home gym. I bought the “Power Cage Only” option as I already had the other items but if you opted for one of the other options available it could be your one stop shop for everything you need. Nonetheless, all the accessories that came with the basic option are quite nice and saved me from spending quite a bit more elsewhere. If I was to go back in time and repurchase the machine I would have definitely opted for the option with the aluminum pulleys. That is not to say that the basic pulleys are bad, in fact I was surprised by how smooth they feel when performing an array of exercises but I am sure they will eventually wear out and need to be replaced. Yet another benefit of the product's price and versatility is the fact that Major Fitness offers an array upgrades or additions that one could add onto the machine. A side note that does not change my rating but is important to note for the review. When I received the Drone 1 a small plastic piece was missing out of part S 72 Casting or the pulley system that moves up and down on the front end of the machine (refer to photo in the review). Without this piece one of the pulleys was twisted up against the metal and could move, which rendered one side of the cable system inoperable. It was easy to contact their customer service and instead of sending me that small plastic part for one of my part S 72 Casting they instead sent me two brand new part S 72 Castings. This left me pretty pleased with the whole situation as I ended up with some extra parts and only missed a few workouts. ... show more
