I am very happy with my lamp, I ordered direct from amazon, paid about $13. It arrived undamaged, all pieces were in box and I put it together in a few minutes. The lamp shade is a thick plastic and it stays on once you screw it down like the instructions suggest, it does the job and it looks good standing in my living room, I have no complaints. I gave it 5 for value of money only because it would be had I gotten it from Walmart at the $9 price point instead of double the price here. Lesson learned. It will also come in a Walmart box. Works fine lights up the room well and easy to put together.

Even though this lamp is plastics and make fairly cheep. It looks nice. You get what you pay for in a lamp, but I wasn't worried about it being fancy. The 3 levels of light are fantastic. I have it in my living room to add extra light as needed since we have limited fixtures in our house. It sits in the corner and ads the extra light I was looking for ... show more

I LOVE THIS LAMP. Anyone considering it should just buy it now. Super easy to put together it took like 5 minutes. It looks sleek, I really like the black. I have a 3-way light bulb in it and it makes my room super bright or a nice mood setting dim (and another brightness level in between).

I thought I was getting a great deal on a new lamp, but once I started asssembling the pieces it became clear that I was not the first person to buy it. The threads on the stalk were stripped and couldn't be tightened firmly, which made the lamp incapable of standing straight up the way it's supposed to. ... show more

The lamp itself works fine, no issues. When it arrived however and I took it out, the shade base was split open. It is not an issue for me, but it is very flimsy plastic (the shade and the shade base).

Great lamp! Only down side I saw was when assembling the product(which was easy and less than 5 mins) I noticed when screwing the parts together it is extremely easy to cross thread and ruin the screws. So be extra careful and if the pieces aren't screwing together in screw them and start over don't force it or you'll probably ruin them ... show more

Good for the price but there's not much too it. Very cheap plastic base and almost rubbery type plastic light cover. My kids constantly broke lamps so I purposely went cheap for That reason. The plastic base cracked AS I was putting it together, but it still works fine. Kids have knocked it down twice and it's still in 1 working piece. If you're looking for style, this is not it. If you're looking for a basic lamp that does it's job without wasting money, then this is it. I do think it was worth it. ... show more
