It works as advertised. The battery life exceeded my expectations. Previous GPS's required being wired to the car battery or needed recharging of the battery frequently. Have tried mounting positions in trunk and in back seat compartment. In both cases it works fine for five or ten days then loses contact with satellites and won't track. This happens with over 70% battery life. I don't see any way to mount it easily or safely on the undercarriage of my LS460. Review change: Since I found the proper location, its been working fine. If its inside the vehicle it needs to be high and preferably somewhere below the rear window or windshield with minimal metal between it and the sky. I finally found the place in the LS 460 for it. ... show more

I got the device in hand, opened the box. I followed the instructions and the GPS was tracking within 45 mins. So far I have it on 7 days and the battery is at 75%. You definitely get 15 plus days of usage per 30 min charge.
