My old Garmin dash cam has been passed from car to car, but I like it. This kit works way better than trying to cut some tape and reuse the old mounts. Another option is you can put more than one mount in the car and move the camera depending on whether you're on the track, the highway, or around town. At one point, I looked into buying these mounts from Garmin and it was horrifying how expensive. These work absolutely perfectly...     • Extra magnets come in handy if you have multiple vehicles.
It simply works. I left the magnets affixed to the windshield for a week before I attached the camera. Much longer than was necessary but because the holding area was so tiny I wanted to be sure. As small as this mount is I’m amazed it holds my camera. The extra magnets are nice since I have three vehicles. ... show more
