At time of order this "fidget pen" was around ten dollars, and I can honestly say that I've fidgeted with it at least ten dollars' worth. The little tubular magnetic segments are reasonably strong, and the attract and repel in the way that magnets should. If I was forced to offer up one critique, it would be that the pen itself maybe doesn't have the most consistent ink distribution, but let's be honest.. you're not looking to buy a pen like this to win a handwriting championship. Also, interestingly, the instructions state "Don't put together magnetic things like mobile phones", yet it comes with 2 stylus tips for the pen.. I feel like if I solve this perceived contradiction of guidelines, something magical might happen. I just need to borrow someone else's phone for practice.

This fidget pen is going to be a great stocking stuffer for my nephew. It comes with 2 pen inserts and multiple segments. You can only use it as a pen when you line up the pieces to form a pen barrel. But take the segments apart and rearrange them in all kinds of fun configurations. The connections are made via little magnetic balls. Get one to keep and get some to give as gifts.

As a pen it's not great. It's got too much flex to feel comfortable for any extended amount of writing. Which is a shame because it's a pretty nice gel cartridge that would write well if it was in a solid body. As a toy it's just ok. With magnetic toys like this, my first desire is to build a geometric shape. Because it only comes with 13 magnet sections, you really can only build a cube. The magnet sections and the steel balls won't let you make a triangle. I kept getting pen on my hands when I tried to take it apart as well. I like the idea, but it just sort of fails in the execution. An option to improve it would be to put the ink cartridge in a solid metal tube that fits inside the magnets to provide some rigidity while writing.

I also was not sure what to expect when I received this item, but I was intrigued. The pen itself works well and it has a nice flow to it. I didn't have any problems using the pen even though the pieces come apart. There were some extra pen cartridges in the set, too. There are also a couple of rubber tops to use with your tablet. Most definitely, this is a fidget toy. All of the pieces come apart and there are different size balls included. I could see myself just constantly pulling it apart and putting it back together. I think this is great for someone who already has it all. The price isn't too bad, either.

This pen is super unique and unlike any pen I have had the pleasure of holding in my hand. While it is heavy, the pen does not break apart, the magnetic field is super strong and holds true. I really like the endless ways I have fun and grow less anxiety with this pen at my fingertips. I like the little silver balls, they are round and smooth and heavy! It helps so much to calm me down when I am nervous or anxious. I would very highly recommend this fidget pen to my friends and family

For the price, this is a decent fidget toy. Lots of small pieces that can be played with in a variety of combinations. The magnets are very strong, which is good. But it can also be a little frustrating as you need to be very deliberate in placing them or they'll just pull together in a clump. Not a big problem since it makes the assembly of various figures a little more challenging and fun. I found the pen feature to be not so useful. The pen and stylus aspects seem to be more of a gimmick than useful tools. Use a regular pen and just play with this set as a desk toy. It's boxed nicely so it would make a nice looking gift.

Kind of an oddball item... the green segments are magnetic / the silver balls are not. Basically it's a pen that you can take apart and play with the pieces... then put it back together again to use as a pen.

Working in a sales field, people tend to bring their children with them while looking at products. This is a great item to have on your desk for middle-aged children as they can sit in fidget while you talk to their parents or even as an adult I find myself playing with it, and using the actual pen function. Very simple and straight or on the directions of how to use product and overall have not had any issues.
