I have had this sealer for about 2 weeks. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but it isnt hard at all to use. I have sealed food in embossed bags for sou vide and storage. I have sealed mylar bags for long term storage. I have sealed wet and dry foods and have also sealed mason jars. The lids are so strong it takes a tool to remove the lids cause they are not coming off any other way. This sealer does everything a chamber vac does and also allows you to seal any size item you want. You are limited with chamber vacs to the size of the chamber you get. The bigger the chamber the higher the price. With this sealer you do not have to worry about the size of the food or bag being too big for the chamber. You can also set times for suction and seal for the machine. There are still some ports I havent used yet, like putting air into the bags for delicate things or foods you dont want to crush. Also I had some questions about the product when I first received the item and I called the number given on the manual and my call was personally picked up and my questions were answered immediately. The only con I would have is that it is a little difficult to lock the lid down when sealing bags. Other than that so far I am very happy with this purchase.

works pretty dang well, took a bit to figure out how to do the vacuum and seal on mylar bags. The directions need some desperate revamping, but so far it works awesome. I am missing a couple of the hose attachments for the vacuum hose stuff but fortunately I don't need them at this time as I was just using the vac chamber/ thing that comes out and not using the hoses.

This vacuum sealer is amazing. Super easy to use. Works great with all bags especially mylar bags. Had to get in touch with customer service, and they replied back to me within 30 minutes of me leaving them a message. The seller was extremely helpful and took care of my issue in minutes. Would highly recommend this unit for all of your vacuum sealing needs above other machines. Had purchased a machine prior to this one that didn’t vacuum seal, mylar bags, and only vacuum, sealed textured bags and didn’t seal well. This machine works on all types of bags. You won’t go wrong if you order this machine. Happy sealing

I needed a professional level sealer because I make fresh dog food for my 2 pitbulls. I make 28-32 bags a week for them and after 16 bags it needs to cool off before I can continue otherwise it starts to seal the bag with the heat and it can’t vacuum out the air. Otherwise, it’s a great product

DEFINITELY A 5-STAR SEALER ***** I just randomly looked for a bag sealer to seal Mylar Bags. I did not expect to find one but WOW, here it is. The Magic Seal MS4005 is awesome. It has a large 16" capacity for almost all size bags. You can adjust the length of time on the vacuum process also the sealing time. We just got it and sealed all our bags. With this you don't even need the Oxygen Absorber in your bag. I had a food saver before and it was not an easy process to seal bags, plus you could only seal food saver bags. This machine seals most all types of bags. I am going to recommend to all my Freeze Dryer friends. Great customer service if you need it. I asked a question and received a very timely response. Awesome product. Again, I didn't think I could find a food sealer that would seal Mylar Bags.

The MS4005 with the air cooler is awesome for continuous use and sealing Mylar bags for long term food storage. Very robust and industrial strength design compared to other vacuum sealers on the market. During our first use we had an issue (that wound up being an error on our part) and called the customer service line. They answered immediately and help us resolve the issue over the phone. He then followed up a few minutes later to make sure everything was working properly and gave us other pointers for using and storing the sealer. This is the best vacuum sealer on the market with the best customer service on Amazon in my opinion!

I purchased this machine a few months ago, during Amazon Prime days. Got it for a really good price. I do a lot of food preservation and I wanted the option to use with Mylar bags if I wanted to. I have been through SO MANY Food Saver brands because I use them so much. I wanted something that would last longer and have better suction. Foodsaver machines don’t allow you to control how long the machine vacuums, so you get what you get. You never really get all of the air out of the bag. But, this machine…you have all the control. Using manual, you can control how long it vacuums, to assure that you are getting all the air out. As mentioned in other reviews, it’s a bit of a learning curve, but easy once you get it figured out. Now, customer service. Companies could learn from these individuals! After having my machine for a few months, I went to use it one day and it would not get any suction. I went through all of the trouble shooting steps before contacting CS and still, nothing. Having dealt with some bad CS, I didn’t want to contact CS. But, I did! They were very prompt and offered a refund right off the bat. Although I appreciated that, a refund was not what I was looking for. I love this machine and wanted it to work. So, we tried a few different things, and unfortunately it still didn’t work. This was 3 days ago, and I have a new machine arriving today:). I would definitely recommend this unit. You can have issues with any item that you buy. Having CS that stands behind their product is priceless!
