I purchased these after others I had ordered that weren't the height stated. These are 26" from floor to seat. They are sturdy , easy to assemble 4 nuts and bolts. Heads up as the hardware was hidden. I wound up calling the company support number. The stated they would be happy to set a Fed X express package. They were a pleasure to speak with and resolve the issue. I wound up finding them taped to a leg hidden under the wrap. ... I can't get more. I need 7 of these stools for my newly renovated kitchen. I decided to order 1 first to see if I liked it. It arrived on time and intact despite the fact that the box was severely damaged. Assembled it easily and decided I absolutely loved it. It is comfortable and met all of my expectations. A few days later I decided to order 6 more. And now they are out of stock. I'm heartbrokay as it took me weeks of searching to find something that I liked. The bar height chairs are being used in my kitchen. They are really nice in appearance however all three are not level and creates a slight rocking sensation when sitting. Had to order separately leg floor protectors. The protectors on the chair were either damaged or not adequate from shielding the sharp metal edges on each leg. The assembly is straightforward but requires very small hands to bolt the seat to the frame. My original order arrived with one chair okay and two that had to be returned and reordered. We were looking at this style chair by another brand, but didn't want to pay between $500-$600 for each chair. We ordered one of these in gray (which is more a warm green-gray and pebbled texture) and blue (which is more a muted teal and smooth texture). After we received them we went to the furniture store to compare with the expensive brand and found little difference. The expensive brand chairs were heavier and had a bit more padding on the back of the chair. They may also be real leather, I'm not sure. I didn't think those differences were worth paying double the price of these chairs. We went with the blue and are very happy with them. They are sturdy, the seat is big, and they swivel smoothly. The seats are a little hard, but not bad, and will probably soften with time. As others have noted, we had two arrive in boxes that were totally beat up.
