The Madison Park Galen Basket Weave Light Filtering Roman Shade offers a simple and convenient update to your home decor. This ivory roman shade features a basket weave texture base fabric that creates a natural look and feel. A thermal foambacking on the reverse provides energy efficiency and enhanced privacy. The cordless retraction mechanism makes it easy to open and close the window shade throughout the day, while the detachable fabric face allows for easier assembly and cleaning by lightly shaking or dusting. Though detachable from the hook and loop fastener, the top face fabric is NOT fully removable. Ready to install right out of the packaging, this roman shade can be hung inside or above the window pane allowing you to find the perfect fit for your home decor. Each shade is also OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it does not contain any harmful substances or chemicals to ensure quality comfort and wellness. Shade measures 64-inches in length and comes in 8 width options to suit multiple standard window sizes; each roman shade is sold as a single and comes with a printed instructional guide as well as an instructional video available on site. Fabric still has wrinkles . The shade keeps falling off the bracket (it is installed correctly). The stitching on the bottom of the shade is not fully stitched. (did not notice this before installing( One of the support bars on the back of the shade fell off.

We have 3 windows in our master bedroom, so we ordered 3 of these roman shades. The first one we installed was visibly off kilter. Not sure exactly what the problem was, but when the shades were rolled up, the folds did not sit flush. The layers were very noticeably not aligned. The other 2 we installed were fine. They looked quite nice actually after I steamed them and got rid of the wrinkles. I like the mechanism (pull handle on the back of the shade). It rolls up smoothly on its own. We exchanged the wonky one and got a new one delivered. Unfortunately that one was also off, but not as bad as the one we returned. So, I guess if you're lucky, you'll get a nice looking product that works well. If you're unlucky, you'll get a cheap-looking, misaligned product that you'll probably want to return. ... show more

Love these Roman shades. The lining and pull on the back makes them seem custom. They fit my windows perfectly and the fabric is so soft and so striking. Nobody would know they weren’t custom ordered from a higher end store. I talk took about 10 min per shade, and I did it myself with an electric drill and no other tools. Very pleased all around and will be ordering more for bedrooms. Measure correctly and you’ll have a custom look with minimal effort and at a very reasonable price.
