We do a great deal of smoking different meats but we need another way of cooking and keeping things warm such as chili beans, for the various meals.     • Burners do not heat up and maintain heat. Cannot cook a full meal.
Cannot even heat soup on one burner and make grilled cheese on the other. Product is not useless but almost. Will have to buy one that works for its intended use, cooking.. and would never consider this thing ever. Looks good though lol

My shirt was not threaded in any way whatsoever. It was iron-on quality or printed or something. Why would you advertise and describe what your selling as woven as in threads and then deliver a printed product. Do NOT by from this seller. You have been warned!! Shirt will never be worn!

    • Left burner did not heat when right burner was turned on
Very nice ergonomic designe, but when I tried to use both burners the left burner would not heat up. The cord to plug into the socket is off the right of the plate and I assume the current runs from the right to the left. Maybe moving the cord to center so both get the same current might help.

The media could not be loaded. This hot plate is very well made aside from some very minor cosmetic issues I would have liked to see improved, but for the price I'm not counting that against it. It heats up fast and it feels incredibly sturdy with its all metal and crystal ceramic heating tops, and I cooked a pan of fried eggs that turned out great. It does specifically say not to use it outdoors, though it doesn't actually say why, so this wouldn't be good for camping. It feels very sturdy with its full metal construction, as I said, and the surface of the heating pads feel really nice. They heat up incredibly quickly and they retain heat very well. I didn't have any issues with that, but do be aware that it only 'glows' when you have the heat active - the surfaces will still be hot for a long while afterwards. Don't burn yourself! The small cosmetic complaints I have are visible in the picture I took; there are a couple small gaps that could have been avoided, and some places where the metal could have been sanded down after folding to avoid the gaps. The dials that control the heat also feel a little bit flimsy, but I wasn't able to pull them off or break them. At $50, those minor issues don't detract from its value overall. I got this so I could reliably cook when I need a faster surface to use than my slow induction cooktop, and if I want to cook in my room this also works. It's very suitable for those purposes, just the way I need. I'll keep using this when I need to cook! I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not mince words. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected. ... show more

Man, this is great! Only thing - it’s just a little bulky. That is not a deal breaker though! I can use this thing while camping, in my backyard, in the dining room if I wanted hahah! It’s great. Works well. Gets really stinkin hot. No issues what so ever!

VERY good product! Having two units allows a LOT of variety potential when using this. It seems really well made so far, sits level, heats evenly, and FAST! The controls allow a lot of subtle micro adjusting and are very responsive. The unit cleans up easily and quickly, and I have not noticed any excessive heat distribution into the body of the unit.
