This is a well made item. Pro's: Great quality material. Color selection is excellent. Clasp is easy to release, unlike the pinch type. Fits well, not too hard in any area as to fit comfortably on the dogs neck. Con's: Nothing that I see at this point. This collar is solid. Clasp is really nice as it is easy to snap to together and take apart as the clip is well manufactured. The fit is also great, after adjustment of course and the material is not too hard. It also has an area for leash, which is strong and looks as if it should last a long time. Good leash for medium and large size dogs. I love these dog collars! Everything about them is wonderful so far! They are very well made, the colors are great (hoping for many more & maybe some prints too) and the material is top notch. I've finally found my dogs all time collars. I won't get any others. I have 4 dogs and a puppy on the way. They all have a Roam collar. My big 'ol coonhound has the one with the handle and I love that for him! It gives extra control when his nose gets the best of him. The handle is also sturdy but doesn't weigh the collar down, which is impressive, other brands I've had in the past that had handles either the handle was too flimsy or heavy so it hung under his head when not in use. The other collars I have for my heeler and cowboy corgi puppy are the classic ones. They are made just as well and I really like that ALL of them (even the little puppy sized one!) has the same metal clasp. Each one also has a d-ring for a leash and a small separate d-ring for attaching tags. I think this is a get quality collar for the price IF they last, which they seem like they will. One of the most well made collars I have ever had the pleasure of using. I love the heavy/strong metal buckles and how strong it is when adjusting size so you don’t need to worry about it sliding wider or smaller like some collar mechanisms. Bought the medium size collar for our golden retriever. The metal clasp on the old one surprisingly broke when the dog pulled the leash after about a year's usage. I like the clasp mechanism on the Made to Roam collar - you can re-clasp using one hand. Also easy to remove the collar. Hopefully this clasp will last longer. Purchased for a dog that we allow to frolic on a long lead at times. Her old collar started snapping open, which is very stressful when you have a dog with a prey drive. Purchased this collar for her and we love it, after a month of use. Hasn't popped open and it seems very sturdy, plus it looks great and is easy to take on and off. I was struggling to find a heavy duty pretty green collar to replace our boy’s that I loved! I was looking for a “handsome” collar haha. Most have plastic clasps that feel cheep! Not this one. It feels durable and heavy duty with a very nice metal clasp. I also love the small ring for his tag and simplicity of the logo! One suggestion is that the adjustment side of the clasp seems like it should wrap on the outside vs the middle because it makes it sit a bit square on the neck. I’m thinking over time it will relax a bit :-) ... show more

We have a 55 pound Labradoodle. This collar works great when we are having to open up the door for any deliveries, we can easily grip the collar by the handle and hold him next to us instead of him trying to get away. It does look a little bit more bulky on him, but I believe that the purpose is there and that the handle is very useful.
